Patrick has been released from the nursing care facility in Farmersville and is now in Commerce. Thank The Lord for healing, and please continue to lift Pat up in prayer and thanksgiving!

Just an update on Patrick's situation. He has been transferred out of Parkland Hospital to a facility in Farmersville, Texas.
Don't quit lifting him up to our Lord, for He alone can take our burdens and indeed carry us in times of need!

Perhaps you know or remember Pat Morris. Patrick had a tragic mishap, while on the job, on the 31st of July. Pat suffered a tramatic brain injury, and was taken to Parkland Hospital in Dallas. While he has had surgery and has improved, he still cannot speak, has very limited use of his hands and arms.
Please be in prayer for Patrick, for a cleansing and complete restoration, body, soul, and spirit!

We are excited to report this ministry is now part of a new adventure. The old was for a season, and now The Holy Spirit has moved us in a new direction. We will be part of a new adventure, with Dr. Howard Durfee Ministries, primarily teaching the body of Christ how to walk in The Word every day. An amazing thing happens when men put themselves aside and allow The Holy Spirit to take the lead. An in depth message prepared for Sunday morning simply disappeared when accessed on the tablet! Rather than going into high alert, I felt the unmistakable peace that surpasses all human understanding! It was as if The Lord was saying, "I've got this"! What ensued was a very pleasant down to earth open venue, informal interaction between the leaders and the flock. I would liken it to a warm visit in the living room between friends or family! Isn't God good?

Speaking of that, The Master's Best Christian Fellowship has now gone through its first ordination. Congratulations to the newest ordained minister, Pastor Patrick Morris!

1Ki 19:11/12
a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

God was not in the tempest, the earthquake or the fire, HE was there signified by the still small voice calling out to Elijah. The Master"s Best has come through the Tempest, a violent wind which tears things up. The Earthquake which shakes things in a mighty way, such that makes one question the very foundation on which they stand, The Fire is the flame of purification. The dross of the impurities has been removed, and now what is to happen?

Reading further in that chapter we see The Lord arranges that entire area to be protected from the enemies of God, and so it is and shall be. God is arranging for a stronghold of HIS disciples that we may do HIS work without to interference of Jezebel or Ahab!

I want to extend my commendation to Melissa Ellis for doing a great job this morning with the worship. I do not judge worship by how perfect the guitar was played or by every note being hit with perfection. I judge worship based on what is coming from the heart and the heart of Melissa was in tune with the Heart of the Lord calling people into unity of worship.

Evidence of her growth in leading worship, she fought past the difficult few days and the technical difficulty with the sound that was not her doing.
