Join us in person or watch our YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/ King of Kings is a diverse, joyful, and welcoming community gathered together by God to celebrate and proclaim the wonderful news of God’s love for us and for the world in Jesus Christ. As Lutherans, we embrace and celebrate God’s grace. We cannot in any way earn God’s love by anything we do; it is pure gift. Jesus C

hrist is the visible expression and ultimate embodiment of God’s grace and love. Worship is central to our lives together at King of Kings. Our worship style can be best described as “relaxed liturgical”. We also gather throughout the week in support groups, service to the congregation, or social events. We hope you’ll begin to get some sense of who we are from our website, but the best way to get to know us is to visit, so please come. No matter where you are in your “faith journey” or “life journey” you are warmly welcomed here.

Almighty and eternal God, the strength of those who believe and the hope of those who doubt, may we, who have not seen, have faith in you and receive the fullness of Christ's blessing, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. —Bread for the Day

Today is Good Friday.

With solemn hearts, we remember the suffering and death of Jesus on the cross. "When Jesus had received the wine, he said, 'It is finished!' Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit" (John 19:30).

On Maundy Thursday, we remember Christ's last meal with his disciples, but the central focus is his commandment that we love one another as he loves us.

"The Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, 'This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.'

In the same way he took the cup also, after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me! For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes" (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

Today is Palm Sunday and Sunday of the Passion. “Now as [Jesus] was approaching the path down from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the deeds of power that they had seen, saying, ‘Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!’’ (Luke 19:37-38).

Today is Ash Wednesday.

Gracious God, out of your love and mercy you breathed into dust the breath of life, creating us to serve you and our neighbors. Call forth our prayers and acts of kindness, and strengthen us to face our mortality with confidence in the mercy of your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. —Bread for the Day
