𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦!

Hi students and families! I’m so pumped to be joining the team as the Student Ministry Coordinator!

I’ve lived a lot of places—Minnesota, Montana, Tennessee, Chile, Mexico, and Iowa (the most exotic of them all), but Hope feels like coming home.

Maybe it’s cliché, but the thing I’m most excited about is to get to know all of YOU—what you care about, what excites you, what you’re curious about, your specifically weird sense of humor… 😉

I’m finishing up my first year of seminary, so I’m a student too—balancing school, family, friends, work, etc. can be a lot sometimes, but my hope is to keep making Wednesday nights feel like home: a place to unwind, have fun, be completely yourself, and grow with Jesus and alongside each other.

A little about me:
- I LOVE the outdoors – kayaking, canoeing, hiking, running, hammocking, you name it. If I catch myself getting crabby, I know it’s time to go sit under a tree.
- I’m great at ball sports… but I’m terrible at dancing. Best sport: volleyball. Worst dance move: All of them.
- My love languages are quality time and sass. I also know Spanish, which is technically a Romantic language. I do not speak Gen A… (skibidi what?)

Church members blessed us with home cooked Puerto Rican meals. We grew in our comfort with praying aloud for one another (and strangers), we followed the Holy Spirit’s nudges (even when they led to KFC), and we capped off the trip with a lunch in Old San Juan. We’re almost home now and grateful for the new friendships, sweet experiences of faith and learning, and love for our neighbors.
