VBS prep is underway!📦🏚️

This year “Whoville” is being sponsored by our favorite hometown furniture store, Britton Furniture! So shop local, buy a new piece of furniture and we will have plenty of boxes to make our vision come to life.

Thank you Brad and Jennifer for always supplying us with all the styrofoam, cardboard and boxes we need each year for Vacation Bible School!❤️💚

Day One of VBS Prep: ✔️

Yesterday was filled with ladders, paint, decorations, laughter, and a whole lot of servant hearts. Every box unpacked, every backdrop hung, and every detail put in place is helping create a space where children will hear about the greatest gift of all—Jesus!

We are so thankful for everyone who is giving their time, talents, and energy to make this vision come to life. It’s amazing to watch God use willing hands to prepare hearts for what He has in store. Day one of VBS prep was a success, and we’re just getting started! We can’t wait to see our Whoville transformed and, more importantly, to watch hearts grow as children discover the love of Jesus.

Here’s to many more days of hard work, joyful fellowship, and God’s faithfulness as we prepare for an incredible Vacation Bible School! 💚✝️🎄

“Anguilla Methodist Church is a spirit-filled church, actively involved in evangelism, spiritual growth and outreach.”

That’s our Mission Statement. The past three Sundays we’ve considered what it means to be involved in evangelism, spiritual growth and outreach. The sermon for this Sunday will be SIGNS AND WONDERS. The Scripture reading will be John 14:12.

What is a “spirit-filled church?” Global Methodist Bishop Jeff Greenway says that a spirit-filled church is characterized by:

-The fruits of the Spirit
-Spiritual Gifts
-Supernatural Signs and Wonders

We’ll take a “brief” look at the fruits of the spirit and Spiritual Gifts, before bearing down on Supernatural Signs and Wonders. I believe the Holy Spirit has given each believer Fruits of the Spirit. I believe each believer receives Spiritual Gifts. I believe I’m empowered (you too!) to do the same works as Jesus. I believe that through the Holy Spirit, the church has GREAT potential to turn the world upside down for Jesus. I believe the church CAN do the stuff Jesus did. I believe in miracles.
