🎄❤️ Who Will Win… and Who Will Wear the Pie? ❤️🎄

One of our favorite parts of How the Grinch Found Jesus VBS is learning that when Jesus changes our hearts, we begin to love and serve others.

This year’s VBS mission project is Kids at Heart, benefiting the residents of the Sharkey-Isaquena County Nursing Home. Our goal is to raise enough money to provide a warm blanket for every resident to enjoy during the Christmas season—a simple gift that reminds them they are loved and remembered.

💙🩷 Tonight’s Challenge: It’s Boys vs. Girls! Who can raise the most money for this wonderful cause?

And the stakes? The losing team’s representative gets a PIE IN THE FACE! 🥧😂

Our brave volunteers for this challenge are our new pastor, Brother Kendall Smith, and his wife, Kimberly Smith! Thank you both for being such great sports and for helping make giving fun!

So come ready to give generously, cheer loudly, and help us bless the residents of our local nursing home. Every dollar makes a difference, and every gift helps share the love of Jesus this Christmas.

VBS MISSION 2026
“Kids at Heart”
Sharkey-Issaquena Nursing Home

This year we have chosen “Kids at Heart” as our VBS mission project to benefit the residents of the Sharkey-Issaquena Nursing Home. We will collect donations to purchase warm blankets for all residents. The week after Thanksgiving, we will deliver their gifts, spread some Christmas cheer and share our hearts with them.
