Friday update:
Tracey and Monica packed up and made the 3 hour drive from Gbarnga to Monrovia today. They will be staying at the hotel here until their flight out on Saturday and if all goes well, they should land in Detroit around 5:30 pm Sunday evening! Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers! God is doing beautiful, miraculous work in the hearts and lives of the Liberian people.

Thursday update:
Tracey had the opportunity to work in the office today sorting through barrels to create a resource library for the staff in Denta. This afternoon we walked down the road a short ways to visit with Susie who previously worked with Don Riley. Our last evening in Gbarnga ended with a refreshing Liberian thunderstorm that helped to break the heat of the day.

Wednesday Update:
Today we said goodbye to the Fairview Missionary School in Denta. We were treated to a farewell ceremony where the students presented the skits and songs they learned this week. We were also presented with a special gift from the school - shirts with a note of thanks as well as our pictures.

Tuesday Update:
Today was another good day in Denta. These kids are kind, generous, and so helpful. And there is nothing better than watching children who are eager to learn get excited about a lesson or activity.
After school today, we got to watch some of the girls practice for their kickball game on Friday. They are tough! Most of them play barefoot in the gravel. A few wear a sock on their kicking foot. They have some really talented athletes!

Monday Update:
Tracey and Monica got up early today to make the trek back to Denta on the dirtbikes. The morning was spent leading sessions for our music camp followed by early dismissal for a staff in-service - their monthly Bible teaching with Pastor Matthew. After their Bible study was done, Tracey met with the teachers and presented them with gifts for their classrooms.
Because there is no electricity in Denta, the day winds down when the sun sets at 7:00. They do not typically use lanterns or candles so we have just flashlights to wash up and get around for bed. The evenings are a bit cooler but still very hot which makes it hard to get a good nights sleep.
