Join us September 12, 2026 from 3-5 pm for ice cream, homemade cookies and a fun afternoon of touring the church and meeting neighbors and friends! Your support is greatly needed and appreciated as we continue making improvements to this beautiful building. We are now a 501c3 entity.

Can you believe that one of the first services at South Scott Union Church had 1500 in attendance?? My Great Grandma Deller helped with food for the masses. Sorry for the small print. Hopefully you can blow it up and read it.

Good morning! We are gearing up for our Annual Ice Cream Social on September 12, 2026 from 3-5 pm.
Here are some newspaper clippings from when South Scott was started. Anyone know anything about the men that were initially on the board? We would love to know relationships and history.

It’s official!! We are now a 501c3 entity!!!! I have changed the name of this page to reflect our new title. What does this all mean???? Now we will be able to get grants for our our beautiful church plus your donations can be designated to certain projects that we are working on. We have big plans and appreciate your support. Stay tuned for more! I will be sharing tidbits of history here and there. And please feel free to share our page!!

The South Scott Union Church Restoration Project is now the South Scott Union Church Historic District Inc..
The restoration work continues but with an expanded vision, and now as an Indiana entity and “public charity” (501c3) operated by a Board of Directors led by Kevin Stoy (President), Jodi Deller (Secretary), and yours truly (Treasurer).

Wishing all a very Merry Christmas and a bountiful New Year. 2026 will be another year of restoration and more for South Scott Union Church. We appreciate all of your support for this project.
