April is National Volunteer Appreciation month and the Gathering Place received a proclamation from the City of Alvin recognizing our volunteers for their service in the areas of free respite, therapeutic activities, and education for Alvin caregivers and their loved ones affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias. Thank you Mayor Gabe Adame and the Alvin City Council for this honor 🙏
