Come out and join us celebrate the eve of All Saints Day (All Hallows Eve). It is not a celebration of scary things, but rather a realization that in the dark shadow of sin and death, there is GOOD NEWS! Christ is Risen and we who have died with Christ in Baptism will also rise and be Saints with Him in Heaven!

This Sunday, Nov. 1 is ALL SAINTS DAY! We are inviting children to dress up as Saints for 8am & 10am Masses. We will have them process in and sit together with their parents and at the end have a special blessing for them.

All Saints' Day is a solemn holy day of the Catholic Church celebrated annually on November 1. The day is dedicated to the saints of the Church, that is, all those who have attained heaven (known and unknown). It should not be confused with All Souls' Day, which is observed on November 2, and is dedicated to those who have died and not yet reached heaven.

Although millions, or even billions of people may already be saints, All Saints' Day observances tend to focus on known saints --that is those recognized in the canon of the saints by the Catholic Church.

----------

This weekend at all the Masses, we will be asking everyone to fill out the DMI (Disciple Maker Index) Survey. Please bring your phone with you to take 5-10 minutes to fill this out before Mass. If you want, you can do this ahead of time now here: https://survey.catholicleaders.org/d/d0kc51

Help Archbishop Vasquez and Fr. Khoi lead our archdiocese and our parish forward with the help of the Holy Spirit. We are asking each parishioner to fill this out. Thank you for your time.

-----
