Please Join Us this Saturday, March 30th at 2:00 p.m. for a Dedication Ceremony of the new Blue Star Memorial Marker & the Gold Star Memorial Marker in front of the Angleton Cemetery Office on Cemetery Road. Reception with refreshments will follow at the American Legion Post #241.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๏ธ The Blue Star Memorial Marker honors all our Armed Forces of the United States by showing appreciation for those who defend our country.

โญ๏ธ The Gold Star Memorial Marker honors Gold Star Families offering honor, hope, and healing to the survivors of their heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Thank you to all those who have been involved in making this vision a reality:
๐Ÿ”นThe Angleton Senior Class of 1961 for inspiring this project and for purchasing the markers.
๐Ÿ”น The Lake Jackson Garden Club for sponsoring the markers.
๐Ÿ”น Leslie Bryson of Bryson Memorials for donating the boulders, mounting the markers onto the boulders, and setting the boulders in place with the help of Rick Perry, Angleton Cemetery Manager.
๐Ÿ”น Woodmen of the World for the donation of a new flag pole that will be installed in the near future between the memorials.
