This morning, we closed out our DRAW series with WAR.

We were reminded that our battle isn’t against flesh and blood, and we can’t fight spiritual battles with worldly weapons. We fight with prayer, Scripture, faith, obedience, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

We don’t fight for victory. We fight from the victory Jesus has already won 🙌🏻

We need to stop approaching the enemy from a place of defeat and start remembering who we belong to.

We’ve dealt with some things for so long that we’ve started tolerating them. Accepting them.

That’s just how I am.
Those are just my thoughts.
That’s just how my family is.
This is something I’ll always struggle with.

But Friday night, we were reminded to get offended.

Get offended that the enemy would even try to convince you that he has authority over something that belongs to God.

Your mind. Your family. Your marriage. Your future. Your kids. Your identity.

It’s time to recognize that something here doesn’t belong.

Stop coming into agreement with lies. Thoughts and feelings do not get to define what is true. God’s Word does.

Take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. Pray. Read. Stand firm in what God has said and remember who you belong to.

The battle is real, but Jesus has already won the victory.

So walk into this week with holy confidence. Not confidence in yourself, but confidence in the One who has already overcome.

It’s time to come face to face with the thing that has kept you afraid, bound, discouraged, or defeated and ask it:

What makes you think you have the right to what belongs to God?

Last night, the Lord reminded us that the enemy does not get the final word over our minds, our families, our stories, or our lives. We were challenged to recognize the traps of the enemy, stand up and get offended, ask God for a strategy, and watch Him reverse what the enemy meant for destruction. He is already defeated. Jesus has already won.

We heard testimony after testimony of what the love, grace, and redemption of Jesus can do, and then we watched the altars fill. Women surrounded one another, prayed over one another, surrendered their battles, and laid down things they have been carrying for too long.

There was freedom in the room last night 🙌🏻

If you’ve been wondering how much longer you can carry what you’ve been carrying, tonight is for you.

If you’re tired. If you’re hurting. If you’ve been fighting battles no one else knows about. If you’ve been longing for something to change.

Come.

There is hope for the weary.
Joy for the brokenhearted.
Peace for the anxious.
Freedom for the bound.

Tonight, you’ll be surrounded by women who genuinely want to love you, pray with you, encourage you, and stand beside you.

And most importantly, Jesus will be there.

You don’t have to have it all together. You don’t have to have the right words. You don’t have to walk through the doors pretending you’re okay.

Just come.

We are so grateful for the way you pour into the church and its people. Thank you for leading us, challenging us, encouraging us, and continually pointing us back to Jesus. Your willingness to follow where the Lord leads has impacted so many lives, and we are incredibly blessed to have a pastor who loves his church family so deeply!

We pray this year brings you the same love, encouragement, and joy that you pour into us all! Happy Birthday!
