What a wet and rainy day for a ride. But it is always worth it when you can bless a Brother and Sister. Today was the Mark Wever Benefit Ride and the fellowship was great. We even got to stop and see Mark today and pray for him! Today we had ASR members from IN, IL, OH, & MO.

Stopped by Carol's Corner in South Whitley. She really took care of us! Then she talked about her future plans for the business... and we just had to pray for the blessings of God over her and for direction in her life.

Tom and Judy Bryant Roberts are members of ASR Northern Indiana Chapter. He is a great Brother with a passion to ride. Just before Tom was able to retire, he suffered a tremendous blow to his health. I have been working with his family to help organize this benefit ride to help Tom and Judy in this trying time.
Would you consider helping this family with me. I do not care if you ride a bike or not, make plans to come and eat breakfast with us and support this family!

2021 National Rally Bossier City, Louisiana
We have some great information that we are excited to get out to our members. Ronald Thwing has secured a contract with Comfort Inn & Suites in Bossier City. It is only 5 miles from the church and it is a straight shot using I-220 bypass to the church. There are 40 blocked rooms in a 83 room hotel with a promise that more rooms could be made available if demand is great. The block is for Thursday and Friday night October 14-15, 2021. Those wanting to extend their stay (or come early) will get the same offer as the block if they use Azusa StreetRiders name. The usual rate per night at this property is $121.00 a night. Our rate is $82.00 per night. Brother Thwing fought for this rate because of the budgets of some not willing to pay the higher amounts. The goal is to price rooms so everyone can stay at the same hotel. There aren’t many hotels at this rate in Shreveport-Bossier City unless you want a budget no-frills room.
They do have a breakfast (Covid limited for now) but expected to be a full hot b-fast by next year.

Good Morning!
August 15th, 2020 is the next ASR - Northern Indiana Chapter Meeting!
Plans for the meeting are as follows:
There is a car/motorcycle show in Warsaw, Indiana. It is a benefit to help those with Cystic Fibrosis. It is located at 1801 East Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana and is from 10am to 3pm EST.
We would like to meet together as a group at 2pm EST and ride together to dinner and meeting location.
Kickstands up at 2:45pm EST.
Ride will leave Warsaw and travel to Nappanee, Indiana where we will eat and have our business meeting.
We will eat at El Cielito Lindo.

Ride was rained out...but that didn't stop us from fellowship. What do Apostolics like to do? Eat...
Had a great missionary service tonight! Raised $$ for Motorcycles for Missionaries.
Then after service...well, we needed a snack. Thanks Bro. & Sis. Sell for taking on the afterburner. Great job!
