t begins with communication. A member that doesn’t know what’s going on is going to have a hard time attending programs and events and participating in the work of the council. It’s important to remember that there are many ways to communicate – phone, email, social media, text. Also, don’t forget to use tools like your parish’s bulletin and website (with Father’s permission of course).

2026 Texas Rally for Life Latest Weather Update

Based on the latest models showing that freezing temperatures in Central Texas are not expected until after 6:00 PM, we are moving forward with the 2026 Texas Rally for Life March and Rally as planned.

Out of an abundance of caution, we will not hold the Pro-Life Expo after the Rally, which concludes at 3:00 PM. This allows attendees—as well as our A/V and table-and-chair rental teams—to have ample time to pack up and travel safely before weather conditions potentially deteriorate.

For those who are unable to travel due to weather concerns, the Rally will be livestreamed, allowing you to stand with us, hear from our speakers, and participate remotely alongside thousands of Texans across the state. You can tune in via:

We are also moving forward with our Texas-sized Diaper Drive and are especially in need of larger diaper sizes (4–7) for pregnancy centers and maternity homes. A moving truck will be on the Capitol grounds to collect donations. If you’re unable to attend in person, we invite you to browse our Host Committee list to find an organization near you where you can purchase and deliver diapers locally to support moms and babies in your community.

Whether you join us at the Capitol or online, thank you for being a valued part of the pro-life movement.

It looks like the weather report for Friday after midnight through Saturday after midnight has been getting steadily worse. The parish office is monitoring the situation to determine which, if any, of the masses will be canceled.

Given the below freezing temps, and the 80-100% chance of freezing rain or sleet for Saturday, we cannot encourage our parishioners to get out and drive. Therefore the Chicken Dinner planned for Saturday night has been canceled.

Please spread the word to your fellow parishioners so that everyone is aware.
