Has the church taken on the form of God's spoiled teenage? Do we just expect God to do everything for us? In some ways the answer to these question is yes, and before you start thinking, "This guy is crazy," please read what I have say.

Prayer is such an power and important part of our faith. It's how we speak and seek answers from God, but do we pray to much? I think so. Most of us have been guilty of using prayer as a way to avoid actually doing something about it. There is time for a prayer and their is also a time God calls us to act. Moses cry out to God in exodus when the Israelites reached the Red Sea, and God simply told him to act . "Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward." Exodus 14:15. God wants us to lean
on him, but we must stop being day dreamers, and do something when God shows us his plan for us. Please don't mistaken me as encouraging a work base faith, because I am not. The only way to salvation is an intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus, but God calls us to be Christians who act, too. We want God to put everything in front of our face and baby feed us. Want him to be the father who constantly pouring out money, do our school work for us, and give us office in the family business. Never really have to work for anything, but our Heavenly Father strives for us to be perfect. This why I believe church has became God's teenager. Prayer is a wonderful thing, but someday you are going to have to act when lead by God.

“18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, 19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart 20 giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:18-20‬ ESV

To set our musical week off Infinity Love thought it be a great idea to start off with Paul writings in Ephesians 5:19, including 18 and 20 for context.

Paul mentions three types of musics here psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. The Greek word used here for the three types are psalmois (psalms), umnois (hymns), and pneumatikais ōdais (spiritual songs). Psalmois meaning is a striking of musical instruments. Umnois means hymns, which means songs that give glory to God, but aren’t directly to him. Pneumatikais ōdais means spiritual odes, which are songs sang directly towards God. I it find interesting that Paul gives three different examples of music to praise God with. Showing that either of the three are good as long as they towards god.

Most important part about this verse is that the music is suppose to come from our heart towards God, and we are supposed do music together.

Music is such a wonderful gift from God, given so we can worship him. This was just a super short summary of this scripture, so I hope it intrigues you to do your own studying. God is the creator of all things. He loves you , and so do we at Infinity Love Bible Studies love you too.

One of biggest argument of non believers is the something like the trinity doesn’t exist because three can’t be one . This made me think about earthly examples of trinities. The one thing that popped in my head is H20. Water exists in three forms ice (solid), v***r (gas), and the plain old water (liquid). They look and act different, but they are all the same. Each form is important in sustaining life on earth and have special properties that are unique to the compound H20. Let’s go through each one and I’ll tell you what part of the trinity they represent to me.

First of all, let’s start off with the cold and solid form of water, ice. Ice is unlike other solids because it can float. This allows aquatic life to live underneath the ice because the ice acts as an insulation from frigid climate and weather. Ice floating also prevents our oceans from flooding because the ice stays on top of the water. Ice represents God in this analogy because God is solid in life. He protects us from the evils of the world just ice serves as protection from outside temperatures.

Next, let’s discuss the gas form v***r. V***r is what brings us rain. We cant always see v***r unless it’s steaming, but’s we can always see the effect of it. V***r is created when water he heated up and ev***rates. The sun is what fuels the energy in nature. The v***r starts condensing through hydrogen, which creates clouds, and eventually gets heavy enough to bring us rain. V***r in this Analogy is represent the Holy Spirit. You cant really see it but you knows it’s there. Holy Spirit leads you to Jesus, where as v***r leads to rain.

Last of all, we discuss water. Obviously water will represent Jesus in this analogy. Water is crucial in our life’s. It’s what quench are thirst, and is involve in almost every body function. It evens feeds us. We could not survive on earth without water, and without it we would live a desert wilderness. Jesus is the water of life, and without him we can’t truly live . He quenches are spiritual thirst. Most important he saves us from the living in a desert wilderness without life. Jesus is the water of life.

I hope you enjoyed this if you read it. I rushed through it because I am at work but it was just something God put it in my heart. This is just a summary of the great properties of H20 and even greater power of God. To conclude, yes there can be one God, but exist as three separate people, and God gave us a earthly example in H20. Thank you for reading

How could a man come up with such a mind boggling idea as the trinity? I will tell you how, man did not come with the idea. Our earthly minds can not grasp the idea that something could be one but three; therefore, how could a man come up with the idea? The trinity is real and our Earthly selfs will never be able to fully to understand it. Only through faith do we believe it.

Hello brothers and sisters! I am happy to announce that I am back home now for good. God is good. I would like to start meeting again and having studies. If you would be interested just let me know and hopefully we can work out a time and day that works for most. On another note, it has been on my heart for some time to start a Christian adventure group for guys. Every Saturday we would meet and go hiking or other outdoor activity.
