𝚂𝚌𝚛𝚒𝚙𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚎 𝚋𝚢 𝙵𝚒𝚛𝚜𝚝 𝙻𝚊𝚍𝚢 𝙿𝚘𝚘𝚕𝚎: John 4: 10. Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water." 13. Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14. but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." 15. The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water so that I won't get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water." 16. He told her, "Go, call your husband and come back." 17. "I have no husband," she replied. Jesus said to her, "You are right when you say you have no husband. 18. The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true." 19. "Sir," the woman said, "I can see that you are a prophet. 20. Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem." 21. "Woman," Jesus replied, "believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." 25. The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us." 26. Then Jesus declared, "I, the one speaking to you—I am he."

Subject when a little becomes a lot: Scripture Lesson by Pastor Nathaniel Poole: John 6: 1. Some time after this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias), 2. and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick. 3. Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples. 4. The Jewish Passover Festival was near. 5. When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?" 7. Philip answered him, "It would take more than half a year's wages to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!" 6. He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do. 8. Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, spoke up, 9. "Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?" 10. Jesus said, "Have the people sit down." There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). 11. Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. 12. When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted." 13. So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten. 14. After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say, "Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world."
