The Well Youth Ministry The Youth Ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church The Well Youth Ministry has grown by leaps and bounds this past year.

We empowered our youth program by making a few key changes. In the past, we have described our youth group as a relationally-focused ministry. We primarily placed our efforts towards developing relationships with our teenagers so that we can relate the Gospel in tangible ways. Teenagers are not going to care what we know about the Gospel until we have developed relationships with them on a personal basis. We have not abandoned this mission entirely, we have expanded it. We now describe ourselves as a Jesus-centered ministry. We take the tools and the examples from Jesus' life and ministry and use that model to reach our teenagers. We emphasize relationships with accountability. This means more than just familiarity; Jesus' model requires intentionality.

Captain's log... Day 5. We have arrived home safe and sound. Today included: Final tribal counsel... griddle master Vernon serving up some sausage and smiles... packing up and rolling out in time to add the Angel Tree to our itinerary. It was a great week. Thank you to all who helped or prayed for us or trusted us with your youth. We are one tribe.

We have loved welcoming the youth group from Trinity United Methodist Church to our Hunger Ministries Program!

Their enthusiasm, compassion, and willingness to serve have made a meaningful difference as they helped support our food pantry and care for neighbors throughout our community.

Captain's log... Day 2. We spotted life today venturing around Survivor Island - a whale, sting rays, birds, crabs, dolphins and even an alligator. We dug for buried treasure, won fire and ate a ton of fun stuff. Our virtual counselors helped with breakfast service. Thanks, guys.
