Arise and Walk Ministries I am a quadriplegic since February 21, 1986 who loves to preach and teach the Gospel. I have been a motivational speaker to several civic organizations.

Prior to that, I graduated from Clemson University with a

Bachelor of Arts in May 1990, received my Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in December 1993 and practiced law for over 16 years. I was in private practice for 4 years at Yon & Evatt, LLP and then over 12 years as an attorney for Anderson County Department of Social Services handling abuse and/or neglect cases of children and adults.

The Bible has been around for several centuries. Everything in the Bible is true and there is proof, not just from a personal standpoint, but also from a historical and archaeological standpoint. When you become a true Believer filled with the Holy Spirit, you receive guidance through the Holy Spirit. You can also feel the double-edged sword when it starts slicing through you because you have not followed through with what Scripture has commanded us to do. I have been on the receiving end of the double-edged sword and it is very painful and can last for a very long time.

Several individuals have tried to convince others that the Bible. They want to argue that it has been copied so many times that words have been misplaced or written by someone else. According to the Dead Sea Scrolls, only one word was missing from the 66 chapters of the book of Isaiah. Please know that God had his hand on the individuals who wrote it down and made copies. This is how we know it is true and we should follow the example below.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

How wonderful it is to be able to worship the Lord our God! I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have been on my knees worshiping Him. I not only worship Him, but I go to Him in prayer asking sometimes what I think is silly stuff, but as His child, I know that what I pray for is never silly to Him. We have to open up our hearts and souls and listen to His voice that comes to us through the Holy Spirit.

As most of y'all know, God will send me a verse or verses that will be my life quote for the year. This past year was really tough because Satan and his demons really beat up on me although I had on the full armor of God. This year God wants me to focus my attention on a daily walk with Him. To stay in the Lord's, holy light is not that hard. The best way is to read His Word and follow through with what He has written in the Bible. The Old Testament is filled with not only great stories about real people, but it gives great relief to see how simple it is to follow Him.

There really is nothing that we can offer to the Lord for everything that He has done for us! The one thing that He really wants from us is to have a deep and personal relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. He has already given us the cup of salvation and that is to admit that we are sinners, Jesus died on the cross for our sins, I asked Him to forgive me of my sins, and I know that He will return for me one day. It is as simple as that.

What can I offer the Lord for all he has done for me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and praise the Lord’s name for saving me.

A lot of people have said publicly, that we are living in the end times. They will quote Scripture from Daniel, Zechariah, Ezekiel, and, of course, Revelation. By the way, it is the Book of Revelation not the Book of Revelations. I do not know if we are living in the end times or not. All that I know, as I heard one tent Evangelist, state “Are you packed up, are you prayed up, if you are then you are ready to go up!” We never know when, "On that day", will occur, so we should live like Christ every day. "’I, the Lord, have spoken! On that day I will gather you together and bring you home again. I will give you a good name, a name of distinction, among all the nations of the earth, as I restore your fortunes before their very eyes. I, the Lord, have spoken!’"

If we talk to talk, then we have to back it up by walking the walk. The best way, to find a true Believer is that they will radiate a light that is the Holy Spirit in them.

If we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

When God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth we, as true Believers, should not only confess His name publicly to others but also in our prayer closet. Not only will this please God but it will heighten our senses of the Holy Spirit! We will feel God’s presence all around us and His Spirit will surround us. Our hearts and souls will be held with unexplainable joy and the living water that is within us will overflow exponentially.

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
