We are pleased to announce a candidate for pastor of Maple Grove! Matthew Hunt will be with us on the weekend of September 12 & 13.

Matthew graduated from the Anderson University School of Theology and Christian Ministry in May of this year.

On Saturday, September 12th, there will be a dinner and meet & greet at 5:00 PM at the church.

On Sunday, September 13th, Matthew will be preaching during our morning worship service. After the service there will be a luncheon with more meet & greet time. At the end of that time we will vote on whether or not to call Matthew as our pastor.

Please be in prayer for the Hunt family as they travel to Anderson (they currently live in northeast Ohio). Keep our church in your prayers as we consider Matthew for our lead pastor.

A Quick Health Update from our Executive Director:

Iā€™ve been really sick this week with a viral infection, a COPD flareā€‘up, and pneumonia. Iā€™m doing everything I can to get better as fast as possible ā€” resting, staying isolated, and praying these highā€‘dose antibiotics and steroids kick in soon. I hate missing time with our moms, babies, and families, especially during flood relief when things are busier than ever.

Iā€™m so grateful for our incredible volunteers and the moms who have stepped up to help cover things while I recover. Their kindness is keeping everything moving, and Iā€™m thankful beyond words. šŸ’›

Because I canā€™t be around others right now, we really need extra volunteers ā€” especially with the increased floodā€‘relief needs. If youā€™ve been thinking about helping, this is a perfect time. Every hour makes a difference.

Did you know we have 3 Teams that you can get involved in at Love Showers Grace?? šŸ˜€

Our Care & Support Team helps with the mamas by writing uplifting cards, helping with mama's practical needs like laundry or dishes while they prepare for baby or after they have their little one!! They also create a Meal Train for the mama the first week she's home with her baby & offer a listening ear or some encouragement!!

Our Events Celebration Team creates invitations, helps with decorations for the fun themes, buys/makes food for the events & does mama's hair/makeup before taking pics of her on her special day!! Were you aware that we do 1st bday parties for the mamas we do the baby showers for as well?? Now is a perfect time to jump in!! Sat, Sept 12 at noon is Jodie's Crafting & Pizza Party where we'll make some of the decorations for her Lil Monsters Inc Baby Shower for baby Jace Lee on Sat, Sept 19 at 2pm at Mercy Road Church - Anderson!! Then Sat, Dec 12 at 2pm at FaithChurch, Anderson Indiana we'll be doing our 1st Girly Birthday "Oh What Fun it is to Be ONE!!" Candyland-meets-Nutcracker-Suite Party for sweet Gianna!!

Maybe your gift is administration!! We could use your help with our Operations & Outreach Team where we clean, organize & inventory donations, fundraise, share what we do with other organizations & help volunteers get plugged in!!
