HopeKids at Hope Fellowship Church

HopeKids is the children's ministry within Hope Fellowship Church in Anderson, SC. We have so much fun together.

It is our goal in HopeKids to show children the immensity of Jesus’ love, to teach them His Word and how to apply it to their daily lives, and to encourage them to show love to others. It is our true joy to spend time with them, serving them and loving them in Jesus’ name.

Why do you invest in HopeKids? We asked a few volunteers to share their answers.

Our desire is for every HopeKid to gain a JESUS foundation they can build off of the rest of their lives, leave each Sunday feeling LOVED and VALUED, and have tons of FUN!!!

Right now, we have a BIG need for volunteers for our SummerFest VBS program July 9-11th, but we also need weekly volunteers to invest in the lives of these HopeKids!

Parents and all HopeKids, come join us for a day of play at our HopeKids play day THIS Saturday, October 12th from 10am-12pm!

This day is designed as a hang out for kids to grow in deeper community with one another through play as well as give them the chance to know our volunteers more that serve them each Sunday!

We will also have a space set up for parents with coffee and donuts so you can sit together and have the opportunity to connect with other parents and grow in community as well! Bring a lawn chair and meet us at the playground where we’ll have a few activities for kids set up!

P.S.: This is not a drop off event, all parents must attend with your kids! Can’t wait to see you Saturday at the Play Day!!!!

Get ready, because this event is coming on March 16th from 3pm-5pm. And parents, don’t forget there’s an additional egg hunt just for you!

*please note that if it rains on March 16th, the HopeKids Easter Egg Hunt will be rescheduled to March 23rd from 3pm-5pm

The HopeKids BIG Idea for TODAY and THIS YEAR!!! We asked the kids the question; "What do we do with our lives right now while we wait for Jesus' return?"

OR

In other words, what targets does Jesus tell us to place our aim?
There's so many different things we can aim our time, energy, and focus at but Jesus says the GREATEST two targets we can hit are.......

~LOVING GOD & ~LOVING OTHERS

These two targets are officially on the wall to serve as a reminder throughout the year for all of us to ask the question; "Where's your aim?" so we can reset our aim back towards the two targets that matter more than anything else!

The HopeKids SummerFest Event is almost here!!!

Join us Wednesday, June 28th and Thursday, June 29th for Worship, BIG Bible lessons and a variety of different stations set up throughout the church to grow deeper in the truths taught that night! These two nights will be for any fully potty trained preschoolers- Rising 6th graders!

On Friday, June 30th, bring the whole family out for Family Fun Night! We’ll have water slide inflatables, dinner provided, snow cones, and a few HUGE surprises you DO NOT WANT TO MISS!!!
