June 13th @ 4-6 at Alvin D Brown Memorial Swimming Pool

Splish, Splash, we are having an SOS Bash! We are heading over to Alvin D. Brown Pool on June 13th from 4-6 for an afternoon of poolside fun. Invite some friends, and email Ally Hall at [email protected] to let her know you and your family plan to attend this Summer of Serving event.

We still can’t get over how much fun we had at our AFS End of Year Party!! We had delicious food provided by the Tupling family, played capture the flag, and had a photo scavenger hunt throughout the entire church! Thank you for a GREAT year at Anderson First Students. We might be on summer break but between Summer Serving and our monthly AFS outings we will have plenty of chances to hang out with our students. Make sure to join us at Davis Park on Sundays at 9am for outdoor worship!

You're Invited to a River Tubing Adventure!

Join us for an exciting afternoon of river tubing with friends! Prepare for a splash of fun and relaxation as we float down the river.

When: June 14th
Time: 12:30-3:30 (trip leaves at 1pm)
Where: Canoe Country, Daleville, Indiana
Cost: $15 per person

Whether you're seeking thrills or just want to unwind in the great outdoors, this is the perfect opportunity for some summer fun.

Please let Ally Hall know by May 31st if you’ll be joining us to ensure we have enough tubes for everyone!

It’s going to be a great summer at Anderson First! Summer of Serving is back, and we need your help!

Every week in June and July, we will have specific serving opportunities for you and your families to do over the summer that will impact our community. We will have weekend events as well as family projects that you can do at your own pace. That way, no matter what your summer plans are, you can find time to work some of our SOS events into your family calendar. Each SOS event presents a unique opportunity to serve our church and community and show our kids and students that you are never too young to make a difference. We can’t wait to spend the summer serving alongside you and your family!

Week of June 1st- SOS Family Project: Public Park Clean Up

June 13th @ 4-6pm SOS Event: Swimming Party

Week of June 15th- SOS Family Project: Make cards for seniors

June 28th @ 1:30-2:45- SOS Event: Primrose Worship Service

Month of July: Prayer Bear Drive

July 11th @ TBD SOS Event: Jumps Party

Week of July 13th- Family Project: First responders treat delivery

July 24th @ 1-2pm- SOS Event: Blessing Bag Packing
