A memorial service for EJ Flemmons will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1 pm at Toxaway United Methodist Church, 1212 East Whitner Street, Anderson, SC, with the Reverend Freda Brock officiating.


Edna Jean (EJ) Landes Flemmons, age 77, passed away on April 23, 2025, in her home. Jean (EJ) was born in Charlottesville, VA, on October 3, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Roy E. Landes and the late Jean Hostetter Landes. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Briggs; son, Keith Gentry; grandchildren, Lynnell Hartwell(Jimmy), Heather Hartwell, Loralei Briggs, Travis Briggs, and Allen Gentry; great-grandchildren, Diesel, R***r, and Chevelle Sandel; sisters, Shirley E. Landes and Suzanne (Suzie) L. Campbell; brother-in-law, Ken Campbell; nephews, Chris and Kevin Campbell; niece, Chesley Campbell; great nephews, Chase Campbell and Kane Campbell; great niece, Kali Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bill Flemmons, and an infant son, John Allen Gentry.

EJ was an active member of Toxaway United Church, serving in many capacities. She will be dearly missed.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

There will be NO church services held on Sunday, August 31, 2025. This is a 5th Sunday, a holiday, and the unofficial end of the Summer of 2025!
We will resume regular services on Sunday, September 8, 2025. Join us at 10:00 am for Sunday School and 11:15 am for Church Service. If you cannot attend in person and would like to call in to listen to the service, the number to call is (339) 207-6807.
