First Kids Club is BACK on September 9th!

At First Kids Club, we gather in the Older Kids classroom, and we are kicking off a new curriculum called Camp Firelight. Our leaders will guide kids in preschool- 5th Grade in interactive games, crafts, and thoughtful discussions around 5 Firelight facts. Additionally, we host Game Nights or Movie Nights once a month. We can’t wait to welcome you and your family on Wednesday nights from 6 to 8 PM!

Our Simple Truth this month is “I Am Uniquely Designed.” Kids will learn that God made them special. Their names matter to God, their lives matter to God, where they live matters to God, and they matter to God! This will be a terrific month, and we can’t wait to see you at church!

On September 13th, we will be BACK at our downtown location and celebrating a huge milestone in our church. Worship in the downtown sanctuary at 10 a.m. begins our celebration.
Full Sanctuary Choir, Brass Ensemble, Scripture, Prayers, and More will fill our hour, which is immediately followed by an all-church catered meal in Fellowship Hall. “Open Houses” for the renovated gym, new classrooms, Outreach Ministries, Historical Displays, Inflatables, Activities, and a Scavenger Hunt with a reward all fill the remainder of the afternoon. Let’s honor our past, celebrate our present, and look ahead to a future full of faith and community service.
We can’t wait to celebrate this incredible milestone with you!

Sunday at First Kids was non-stop fun! We celebrated being back at our Davis Park location with a morning spent on the playground. We are keeping the party going TONIGHT as we prepare for our First Kids Water Night. As our outdoor worship season wraps up we are feeling super grateful for all of the incredible families and leaders who make Davis Park feel like an extension of our Anderson First church home. We can’t wait to see you there tonight at 5:30 for a pitch in meal and for water night fun starting around 6.
