Doctor called just a little bit ago and said that Diana was doing well. He said they made an 8-in incision and went in and removed the clot. They got the blood flow back to her small intestines which "pinked" back up. There was one section that didn't look good. General surgeon came in and removed a 2-in section. They didn't close her and intend to go in Monday and look at a few other small sections that didn't look the best. If needed those will be removed and then reattach her small intestines. Doctor said she was very fortunate.
Probably a ten day stay.

We need your prayers. Diana has a blood clot that has broken off and is partially blocking the main artery to her intestines. Thus the pain. They are talking sending her to Indy to vascular surgeons who are planning to remove clot. ER Dr said her labs looked good so he didn't think she has any infarction (caused by starving of blood).
