The Carpenter's Church We build lives. Join us Sundays at 10am.
1610 Pearman Dairy Rd. Anderson, SC What people usually notice first about us is the life-giving nature of our ministry.

At The Carpenter’s Church, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their own spiritual journey. Our goal is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through powerful, engaging worship services that offer biblical truth in practical, relevant and positive ways. We believe in BUILDING PEOPLE UP, not tearing them down! We are striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there is relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer and compassionate care for those in need. To put it another way, our desire is to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage our entire community, one life at a time. So, whether you are a spiritual seeker who is just beginning to ask questions about God, or a seasoned believer who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at Carpenter’s. We hope you’ll check us out in person one Sunday! In the meantime, you should find everything you need right here to get a good feeling of who we are and what we’re about. You can use this site to check out our Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, watch one of our recent Weekend messages, find information about our other ministries, or read about what’s going on in our church.

WHY DO SOME PEOPLE NEVER CHANGE?

Some people spend years around church yet never truly change… but when the Holy Spirit fills a life, everything changes.

This past Sunday, Pastor Kendall Hicks shared a powerful message from Acts 2 about Peter’s transformation from fearful and self-protective to bold and surrendered through the power of the Holy Spirit.

No matter your past failures or where you feel stuck, God still transforms lives today.

If you missed Sunday’s service, we encourage you to check out the message!

🔥 What happens when God interrupts ordinary life?

Last Sunday, Pastor Kendall Hicks shared a powerful message from Acts 2:1–13 about Pentecost, the Holy Spirit, and how God still moves in powerful ways today.

The early church experienced the sound of rushing wind, tongues “as of fire,” and lives forever changed by the presence of God. What happened then wasn’t just for that moment — it’s a reminder that God still fills, transforms, and sends His people today.

“When the fire falls, it may not make sense—but it will make a difference.”

If you missed Sunday’s service, we pray this message encourages and challenges you in your walk with the Lord.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t just dwell in you for comfort—He wants to flow through you for impact.

If you’ve been feeling spiritually stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to recognize God moving in your everyday life… this message will both challenge and equip you to step into something deeper.

Missed it or want to go deeper?

✝️ Today is Good Friday…

The day we remember the sacrifice.
The weight. The sorrow. The love poured out on the cross.

But we don’t stay there… because we know what came Sunday.
The grave couldn’t hold Him. Hope is alive. Jesus is risen!

And we’re celebrating that victory together!

✨ Why would the Holy Spirit lead Jesus into the wilderness?

Right after being called “beloved,” Jesus wasn’t sent into ministry—He was led into the wilderness… where truth and temptation collided.

In this message, Pastor Kendall Hicks walks through Luke 4:1–13 and reveals a powerful truth about the Spirit-led life:

👉 Following God doesn’t always make life easier
👉 It often leads to seasons of preparation

Because sometimes the Spirit leads us into the wilderness before He propels us into purpose.

If you’re in a stretching season, don’t lose heart—God is preparing you for what’s ahead. 🙏
