✝️ Today is Good Friday…

The day we remember the sacrifice.
The weight. The sorrow. The love poured out on the cross.

But we don’t stay there… because we know what came Sunday.
The grave couldn’t hold Him. Hope is alive. Jesus is risen!

And we’re celebrating that victory together!

✨ Why would the Holy Spirit lead Jesus into the wilderness?

Right after being called “beloved,” Jesus wasn’t sent into ministry—He was led into the wilderness… where truth and temptation collided.

In this message, Pastor Kendall Hicks walks through Luke 4:1–13 and reveals a powerful truth about the Spirit-led life:

👉 Following God doesn’t always make life easier
👉 It often leads to seasons of preparation

Because sometimes the Spirit leads us into the wilderness before He propels us into purpose.

If you’re in a stretching season, don’t lose heart—God is preparing you for what’s ahead. 🙏

Jesus had no sin… yet He chose to stand in the water alongside sinners.

He didn’t stand above us.
He stood with us.

And when He came up out of the water, heaven opened and the Father declared,
“You are my beloved Son.”

What a powerful reminder for us:

Because of Jesus, we are not alone.
Because of Jesus, we are invited into the family of God.
Because of Jesus, our lives can be marked by grace, purpose, and redemption.

As you continue to go through your week, remember this:
The same Savior who stepped into the water for us also walks with us every single day.

Take a moment today to thank Him for His love and His sacrifice. ❤️

Why was Jesus baptized if He had no sin?

This past Sunday we kicked off our new series “This Is the Way?” by looking at Luke 3:15–22 and the powerful moment Jesus stepped into the Jordan River to be baptized.

When heaven opened, the Holy Spirit descended, and the Father declared, “You are my beloved Son,” the mission of Jesus was set in motion.

Jesus didn’t stand above us —
He stood with us… so He could ultimately die for us.

In this message we explore why Jesus chose baptism, what it reveals about His mission, and why this moment still matters for us today.

Watch the message below ⬇️ and join us as we continue walking through the beginning of Jesus’ ministry and the path that leads to the cross.

No dress code for your past.

We love Jesus.
We love people.
And we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

You are sowing something every single day.

With your words.
With your attitude.
With your faith.

In your home.
In your workplace.
In the lives of those around you.

Small choices are seeds.
And seeds always produce a harvest.

Be encouraged — what you’re planting in faith matters more than you think.

Keep sowing generously. 💛

What if generosity isn’t pressure… but worship?

This Sunday in Week 3 of Building to Last, Pastor Kendall Hicks opened 2 Corinthians 9:6–8 and reminded us:

We don’t give because we have to.
We give because we believe.

Not as obligation.
But as faith.

Not giving something up.
But building something that will outlive us.

This message wasn’t about money.

It was about:
✨ Sowing what we want to see grow in our children
✨ Choosing faith over fear
✨ Trusting that God’s sufficiency is greater than our security
✨ Investing in souls, not just space

One day, a child will walk into a room we helped build…
And meet Jesus there.

That’s legacy.

This isn’t about square footage.
It’s about souls.
It’s about building the kind of faith that echoes into the next generation.

What are you sowing right now that will outlive you? 💛

✨ We may not have chosen the times we’re living in… but we can choose how we live in them.

Last Sunday, Pastor Kendall Hicks brought a powerful word from Hebrews 12:1–2 — reminding us that this life of faith is not a sprint, but a race that requires endurance.

In a culture that feels confusing, divided, and heavy at times, we are called to:

🏃‍♀️ Run with endurance
🧱 Lay aside the “weights” slowing our faith
🔥 Overcome spiritual discouragement
👀 Fix our eyes on Jesus — especially when life feels repetitive or frustrating
🌿 Leave a lasting spiritual inheritance for the next generation

We are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses.
We are not alone.
And Jesus is still worthy of our focus.

If you’ve been feeling weary, distracted, or spiritually tired — this message will strengthen your heart.

🎧 Go listen.
💬 Comment “ENDURE” if you’re choosing to run your race with faith.

The verses we skip…
The “doors” we don’t want to open.

This Sunday, Nolan challenged us to step into the Scriptures we often avoid —
The hard truths.
The uncomfortable correction.
The refining lessons.

Because sometimes the very Word we skim past
is the one God wants to use to transform us.

📖 The verses that confront us
📖 The passages that stretch us
📖 The truth that humbles us

Those aren’t there to shame us…
They’re there to shape us.

Growth doesn’t happen in the comfortable rooms.
It happens when we’re willing to open the doors we’ve kept closed.

As we walk into this week, may we have the courage to:
✨ Read what we’d rather skip
✨ Sit with conviction instead of avoiding it
✨ Trust that God’s correction is love

There is freedom on the other side of obedience.

If this message spoke to you, drop a 🙌 or share what verse God has been pressing on your heart lately.
