Here’s our weekly growth suggestion. Spend some time asking God where Satan is trying to draw you away from God. Surrender that to the Lord trusting He is able to deliver you. Read chapter 5 in Absolute surrender (page 101). Pray for revival at Hopewell.

Hey Hopewell men, we'll have our next men's study on living with a transformed perspective tomorrow, September 1st. We'll have snacks at 6 and the study at 6:30. We'll be studying 1 Corinthians 6:12 and looking at what dominates our perspective. We'll talk about the difference in what's permissible and what's truly God honoring and edifying the body of Christ. Hope to see you there

Here’s our weekly growth suggestion.
Where do you need to be persistent in prayer? Will you commit to praying persistently and specifically for revival. Will you consider forming a prayer group or having a prayer partner for revival? Read chapter 4 in Absolute Surrender which starts on page 93. Pray for Hopewell to be a refreshing church.

This Sunday, August 30th, is the last day to bring donations for the Christian Service Center.

If you’re able, please consider bringing non-perishable food items to the Christian Service Center or dropping them off here at the church. Every donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated!

Some much-needed items include:

🛢️ Oil
🍚 Sugar
🌾 Flour
🥫 Ready-to-eat meals such as Chef Boyardee
🍝 Hamburger Helper (one-box meals)
🍪 Graham crackers
And other non-perishable food items
The Christian Service Center serves an average of 450 families every month. Your generosity helps make sure families in our community have food on their tables.

Here's our weekly growth suggestion. Pray the Lord’s prayer each morning this week. Stop and think about how eager you are for His will to be done and not yours. Start a list of people you will pray for to be saved if you haven't already. Read chapter 3 in Andrew Murray’s book Absolute Surrender which starts on page 85 . Pray for Hopewell to be a refreshing church.

Hey Hopewell men, we will have our men's Bible study tomorrow night (Tuesday, August 25th). Snacks will be at 6 and Bible study at 6:30. You don't need to bring anything but your Bible. Our study is on a transformed perspective. The Bible passage we'll be studying this week is Philippians 1:21-26.
