The kids are back in class and summer days are beginning to wind down (although the heat seems intent to hang around!), and we are back to our regular Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m. beginning this Sunday, September 6. Also, our adult Sunday School class will begin meeting again at 9:30. We invite you to join us and experience the deep joy of hearing the Word of God preached faithfully and unapologetically. We trust in it, and we hope you will, too. You have a place with us ❤️

“Our brokenness doesn't disqualify us from God's presence—it positions us right in the center of it.” Margaret Feinberg

The very words of Jesus recorded in Matthew’s gospel underscore this truth: We do not have to wait until we are whole to belong. We come to Him as we are with all our parts that are not perfect, and it’s okay. The One who chose the cross understands.

Wholeness and healing begins with a step forward. A step toward grace…a step toward mercy. Worshipping with others is a physical statement that says: I need my Savior. I am grateful for His loving kindness toward me. And He is worthy of my praise and gratitude for all He has done.

Find hope, peace, and wholeness in the fellowship of others. Join your heart with others this Sunday and lighten that load. ❤️

Jesus loves small places, and our church has not escaped His notice. Here we are still standing as a steady, peaceful light to our community. ❤️

“If the phrase ‘What will people think?’ ever spills from your lips, here’s the truth: What people think about us can’t compare to what our Savior thinks of us.”
Liz Curtis Higgs

If we’re honest, we do care what others think about us. And to some extent that isn’t always a bad thing. If we claim Jesus as Savior, our desire should be to reflect His kindness, His grace, and His perfect love. That kind of reflection honors Him and can draw others into His circle of grace and forgiveness.

Truthfully, we can’t control everything people think or say about us, but we CAN choose to let our character and consistent Christ-centered behavior speak volumes more than opinions. What Jesus thinks about us matters more—so much more than we know this side of heaven.

We invite you to enter a place where the opinion Jesus has of you matters. You won’t find perfect people who never struggle, but you will find folks who live forgiven and challenged to share His love with you!

You have a place with us ❤️

“No one gets to decide your worth. Not even you. You were created by God Himself, and the sooner you trust His opinion, the sooner you’ll get on with the thriving, flourishing life to which your soul is an heir.” Susie Larson

Whose opinion of you matters most this side of heaven? Not your own…not your family’s…not your friends’, coworkers’, or neighbors’. The only opinion that matters this moment is God’s, and He says you are His child…an heir to His kingdom. That solid truth should bring the most comforting peace to your tired, worn heart.

If you are questioning your worth or your standing before God, join us this Sunday to step into renewal and hope. You’ll find you’re not alone in your search but discover others who’ve found acceptance and hope in His grace. ❤️

“Behold, I am making all things new” (Revelations 21:5).

Made NEW. Who of us haven’t hoped for that feeling of being made new. God promises that one day we will experience an eternal renewal when we enter heaven, but as Isaiah reminds us, God wants to do something new in your life NOW.

God promises that He can make ways in the wilderness and rivers in deserts. Do you feel that tug in your heart to let Him make a way in your own wilderness? Come join us for an opportunity to leave your wilderness and find real hope in the person of Jesus. You’ll find you’re not alone in your journey…we’ll walk with you. You have a place with us ❤️

Feeling anxious? Here’s the truth to lean into: Those feelings don’t disqualify you from God’s peace. It positions you to receive it. Because His peace isn’t for people who have it all together. It’s for people who know they desperately need Him.

In moments where you can’t catch your breath or stop your mind from spinning, know that His peace can sit right in the midst of your struggle. Not always in the way you might expect. Not always removing your circumstances. But He helps. He shows up. He gives peace that doesn’t make sense.

We invite you as we do every week to step into a journey where you will not travel alone. When you seek peace with others you just might discover that He works through others to bring about the very thing you’re searching for.

Because His peace isn’t for people who have it all together. It’s for people who know they desperately need Him. And quite honestly, that means every one of us.

Worship begins at 10 am. Your seat is saved ❤️

Here’s the good news from the Apostle Paul: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17) The old is gone, completely gone. And what a relief it is to know God sees us as completely NEW when we step into His loving grace!

This world doesn’t have the power to define you; Scripture does. So when you lose sight of who you are, look to God’s Word. Look to His people who will welcome you in. We’ll be there to receive you. See you Sunday!

“Take away my desire for lesser things so that my heart beats in rhythm with Yours.” Susie Larson

If we’re honest with ourselves, we all struggle at times with setting our priorities. As a Christ follower, sometimes we get it right. And then there are times when we know we’ve shifted. The good news is each day we’re given this side of heaven is an opportunity to turn things right side up! Wherever you are at in this moment, we invite you to join us in worship and praise this Sunday. Got things in a good order? Great! Need some support and encouragement to set things right? That’s great, too, because we are here for you! Your place is saved. See you there ❤️
