Sowing and reaping…our farming friends understand the cause and effect of proper planting and caring for their fields. Right now in our area, the fields are beginning to show us the fruit of planting small seeds. Our hearts mirror that kind of tending needed for our spiritual growth. “The stories that give Him the most glory aren't the tidy ones; they are the ones that include two words: But God.” Hollie Gerth

“But God…” Two words that change a story and also change lives. Could you use a “But God” moment right about now? The truth is there is nothing we have ever done that shocks God to the point where He will give up on us. When we hear the cynical voice whispering to us “You’ve blown it too many times” or “You’re beyond forgiving” be sure of this, it is not the One who calls us beloved.

“You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.” John Bunyan

Every day you and I are faced with opportunities to meet a need. Most are likely considered small by our standards but not to Jesus’s. Every act of kindness shared and every act left undone speaks to who we are.

Do you see a need to meet? Go make a difference. Do you see a way to lift someone up? Go do it. Live like Jesus did, and give yourself to love and service. Others may never know, so be good with that. Jesus sees.

You are warmly invited to step into a fellowship of believers who are far from perfect but who are still learning to trust and follow the One who loves us most (Hint: the One who died for you). Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. and as always, your place is saved ❤️

In our walk as believers, sometimes it’s good to reflect on what faith is not.

Perhaps, one of the biggest misconceptions about faith is that strong believers never wrestle. But take a moment and open up a Bible. You’ll see something very different.

David poured out questions in the Psalms.
Job wrestled deeply with suffering.
Even the father in Mark 9 cried out, “I believe; help my unbelief.”

Faith isn’t the absence of questions, and it isn’t pretending everything is easy. Faith is choosing to KEEP coming back to Jesus even when your heart feels heavy, confused, or tired.

The faith that endures isn’t perfect…it’s persistent.

We invite you to come with your questions. Come with your doubts. Come seeking. What you’ll find is a family of believers who walk with each other and endure together. You have a place with us ❤️

John 20:4 “The two were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first.”

They couldn’t wait. They didn’t linger to get clarification. They. Just. RAN. And when they arrived at the empty tomb, John records this in verse 8, “Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed.”

This Resurrection Sunday we invite you to join us as we celebrate Jesus’ victory over the grave. Run, walk, or drive…but come with anticipation like these two followers of Jesus to experience the promise and beauty of the resurrected King of kings, Jesus! “The path to peace is the path to a Person. Trouble will come, but trouble doesn’t get the final word because Jesus promises us His peace.” Melissa Spoelstra

The peace that Jesus promises is perfect peace. But it’s not peace achieved through a packaged program or a 5-step process. The peace described in John’s gospel isn’t found in a procedure…it’s found in a Person.

If your heart is tired and you find yourself in need of some much-needed peace, look to the One who would rather die for you than live without you. That One is Jesus.

If you are needing some real peace that the world just hasn’t been able to give you, then come join us this Sunday. You won’t find perfect people, but you will find hope-filled friends. We meet at 10:30, and you really do have a place with us ❤️

Knowing what others say about you or even think about you may seem significantly important. Unfortunately, the opinions of others about you can change with the wind. But here’s the beautiful truth: You have a Savior who calls you Beloved, and His opinion of you NEVER changes!

In fact, the apostle Paul was so intent on us knowing the intensity of Jesus’ love for us that he wrote: “…And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” (Ephesians 3:17-18)

THAT’s how loved you are, and what He says is true about you is eternal. Join us this Sunday and celebrate what Jesus says is true about you. We’ll praise Him together! See you there.
