First American Baptist Church

First American Baptist Church We are a diverse family oriented church. Join us Sundays for worship 10:00am-11:00am. We are delighted that you have come to visit with us today. Manu.

We pray that you will find a warm welcome and experience God's love through His people and our worship together. It is our desire to bring Glory to God in all that we do at First American Baptist Church. We seek to lead people to a personal relationship and saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We do this through a variety of small group and worship opportunities. Our worship is a blended contemporary service, that combines traditional hymns with praise choruses, prayer and dynamic preaching based on the Word of God. Since Spring 2020, we have offered a hybrid Sunday Service with attendees both in person and on Zoom. Masks and distancing are encouraged in the sanctuary. Our Bible study is every Thursday night from 6-7pm on Zoom. As a member of the Alaska American Baptist Conference, there are variety of options for the adult disciple. Other small groups and Bible Studies also meet at various times during the week for Christian growth, fellowship, prayer and service. We also share our building with the American Samoan Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. We believe that the love of God must be shown in word and in deed. We are strong supporters of the American Baptist Mission in Alaska and around the world.
