American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls 5 to 18 years of age. AHG is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.

In AHG, girls are learning that serving others is part of walking with Christ. Doing good does not always have to be something big. Sometimes it looks like helping at church, encouraging a friend, or caring for someone in need.

Is your daughter ready for her first big adventure?

We're so excited to welcome our youngest girls into American Heritage Girls! If your daughter will be 5 years old by September 30, she can start her wonderful journey with us. It's a special place where girls flourish in faith, friendship, confidence, and character.

American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered leadership and character-building program for girls ages 5–18. Our youngest members kick off their journey by exploring foundational skills through fun, hands-on activities that nurture courage, kindness, and love for the Lord.

Throughout the year, girls enjoy exciting activities like:
• Creative crafts and badge work
• Outdoor adventures and exploring nature
• Service projects that bring blessings to our community
• Building friendships and teamwork with other girls
• Support and encouragement from caring Christian mentors

It's truly a joy to watch these little ones begin discovering the wonderful gifts God has placed within them.

Fur Rondy Parade 2026

The sun was shining. The temperature was a crisp -6 degrees at 10 am. It was freezing… and completely worth it.

Our girls showed up with courage, big smiles, and joyful hearts. They waved, they cheered, and they represented our troop with confidence and integrity. Even in the cold, the warmth of community, sisterhood, and shared purpose carried us through.

One of the greatest blessings of today was marching alongside multiple troops from across our area. Different troops, one mission. We encouraged one another, stood shoulder to shoulder, and showed our community what it looks like when girls and leaders support each other in unity. That kind of fellowship is powerful.

Days like today are about more than a parade. They are about building resilience, teamwork, faith, and the kind of character that stands firm no matter the temperature.

To our families who bundled up, to our girls who marched boldly, and to our Anchorage community who cheered us on, thank you. Your encouragement means more than you know.

Find Us at the Fur Rondy Parade This Saturday!

We are honored to be participating in the Fur Rondy Parade this weekend! If you see joyful, confident girls walking with purpose, that’s us. 💙❤️

We are American Heritage Girls, a Christ-centered leadership and character development organization for girls ages 5–18. Our mission is to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.

Our girls grow in:
• Faith rooted in Christ
• Leadership through real responsibility
• Outdoor adventure and life skills
• Service to their community
• Lifelong friendships and mentorship

We believe every girl is created intentionally by God and is deeply valuable. This year, our troop has focused on the word “Priceless.”

Our verse of the year reminds us:

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.” Matthew 13:45–46

Each girl is a pearl of great value, and we are committed to helping her grow in confidence, courage, and Christlike character.

What a joyful and heartwarming evening we shared this Monday! Our troop gathered for our Mother–Daughter Christmas Tea, and it was everything we hoped for. A night filled with fellowship, creativity, giggles, and the sweet reminder of how precious our girls truly are.

We enjoyed a warm soup dinner together, sipped Christmas tea, and made Priceless-themed jewelry and skincare creations accented with pearls. A beautiful symbol of the truth that each girl is uniquely crafted and deeply valued by God.

The night ended with a fun and laughter-filled gift exchange that made every girl shine a little brighter. Seeing mothers and daughters creating memories side-by-side is exactly what makes our troop such a vibrant and loving community. AHG truly is a place where faith, family, and friendship grow together.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of mother–daughter relationships. This Christmas season, draw our hearts closer to You and closer to one another. May our homes be places of peace, our words be filled with grace, and our time together be rich with joy. Strengthen every bond, heal every worry, and guide each girl to know her priceless worth in Christ. Let Your love shine brightly through every AHG family this season.

Amen.

What a First Meeting!

Our 2025 AHG year is officially underway 💙❤️ — and what an amazing first meeting we had!

• The girls created troop number bracelets to kick things off with some hands-on fun, practiced the Creed & Oath.
• Both parents & girls got to meet with our unit leaders and start building connections.
• We went over all the troop necessities with parents to get us ready for an incredible year ahead.

This is just the beginning — and we’re so excited for the faith, service, and adventures to come!

American Heritage Girls 2025 – A Year of Priceless Faith

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.” – Matthew 13:45-46

This year, American Heritage Girls invites your family into a journey of discovering the pearl of great price, a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Through faith-filled meetings, service, leadership, and adventure, AHG girls will learn that obstacles, like a grain of sand, can be transformed into something beautiful with God’s guidance. Together, we’ll explore how His priceless love gives hope, strength, and purpose.

Girls ages 5–18 are welcome, and we invite women of faith to join us in leading the next generation of godly girls.

Out first troop meeting of the year is Monday, September 8th and it is not too late to sign up.
