Good morning saints and friends; the word for today from pastor is James 4:10 (NLT); “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.”

God’s word is full of beautiful promises! James 4:10 is a promise that if we come before God with humility then he will lift us up. When we realize we cannot succeed on our own and that you need God in every moment and every second, it is then that God can enter our lives and begin to do great work on our behalf. Invite God to use your life for his purposes. Trust Him and he will carry us through even the most challenging and difficult seasons of your life. Be blessed on today.

Good morning saints and friends; the word for today from pastor is 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NLT); “Each time he said, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That's why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Do you find that you keep running into your failures or weaknesses? When you are faced with the reality of your own weaknesses, it's humbling and cathartic. Change your attitude towards weakness and see it as an opportunity to look towards God to meet your needs. Ask God to step in where you falter. He is sufficient. Be blessed on today.

Good morning saints and friends; the word for today from pastor Galatians 6:9 (NLT); “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Some days are simply overwhelming and cause us to want to give up. God desires us to be persistent in our good work. Maybe you’re trying to mend a broken relationship with a family member and some days are very tough. Sometimes work can be hectic and unforgiving. And sometimes it’s a dream of yours to work on something that you’re passionate about and gifted in. There are peaks and valleys for all of these journeys, but remember to be strong, hopeful, and believe in your heavenly father. Be blessed on today!

Good morning saints and friends; the word for today from pastor is James 3:5 (NLT); “In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire”.

What a powerful tool each of us is blessed with: communication! Depending upon its delivery and timing, something as simple as a laugh has the power to make a jovial comedian radiate or cut a person to their core. Use your tongue for God's purposes by building up loved ones, teaching others about Jesus' love, or praying in difficult situations. Be blessed on today.

Today we are wishing our Pastor Carl Baldwin, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Pastor, we are so honored to be celebrating your birthday ...

Good morning saints and friends; the word for today from pastor is Ephesians 5:21 (NLT); “And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. “

God’s word calls us all to live a life of submission. Submission is a gift we offer to those around us. It’s nothing that ever should be coerced out of us. A synonym for submit is adapt. Taking the posture of submission, means keeping an open heart to those around you and being willing to yield to others from time to time. Just as Christ took the form of a servant, we are all called to be willing to adapt to one another. Be blessed on today!

Good morning saints and friends; the word for today from pastor is Psalm 77:10-11 (NLT); “And I said, “This is my fate; the Most High has turned his hand against me.” But then I recall all you have done, O LORD remember your wonderful deeds of long ago.”

When we face difficult times, we are invited to look back and remember God’s goodness. He gives us the good to be an encouragement to our souls when we talk through dark seasons of our lives. So pay attention when God brings His blessings so they can be written on your heart as proof that God is for you even when your circumstances seem bleak. Be blessed on today.

Good morning saints and friends; the word for today from pastor is Philippians 4:13 (NLT); “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”

While learning from your failures can be beneficial, have you ever thought about learning from your successes? If you build upon your past successes, you gain more confidence and knowledge from your previous works. It's more important to take small steps in the right direction. Remember that God is blessing you with each successful step, and He rewards your patience along the way. Be blessed on today.

Good morning saints and friends; the word for today from pastor is Proverbs 17:7; “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity”.

True Godly friends can be few and far between. Many will say they're your friends simply for what you can do for them. A Godly friend will put your needs ahead of their own. Even to their own hurt. They will love you when others hate you and they will stand by you when others turn their back on you. Thank God for those types of friends He sends into your life. They are showing the love of our Savior. Be blessed on today.
