Alaska Family Council Our culture is drifting. Our country is divided. Our families are weakened. Our churches are silent.

AFC’s purpose is to see our future and our families anchored in truth, strengthened with purpose, and ignited for Jesus. The Alaska Family Council is a non-profit Christian public policy organization dedicated to protecting and strengthening the family. We elevate the discussion on the impact and importance of the family by focusing on five core areas -

* Promoting Active Citizenship
* Equipping Grassroots Leaders

AFC President Jim Minnery is grateful for the shoutout from U.S. Senator Ted Cruz!

Jim was honored to work closely with Senator Cruz and Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan as concerns were addressed and language clarified to protect state laws safeguarding women’s sports. We’re thankful for leaders willing to listen, work together, and stand for fairness and opportunity for female athletes.

Join Alaska Family Council for our new Monthly Prayer Gathering as we come together to pray for our families, our communities, our leaders, and the culture of Alaska.

Glory, glory, hallelujah. 🇺🇸

Last week we had the privilege of attending SoConCon with leaders from across the country who are committed to standing for truth with both conviction and compassion.

What encouraged me most wasn’t the politics—it was that every morning began with worship, prayer, and God’s Word. A reminder that our hope has never rested in government. It rests in Jesus Christ.

We came home challenged, equipped, and encouraged to continue serving Alaska with faith, courage, and grace. May we always be people willing to say “yes” to God—loving our neighbors well and helping shape a culture where our behaviors, our habits, and even our laws increasingly reflect what is true, good, and life-giving.

Grateful for the opportunity, the conversations, and the reminder that lasting change begins with faithful people who are willing to faithfully follow Christ.
