Reclaim will meet this Sunday, October 4, 2026 - 10 am at Beacon Hill (2807 Arctic Blvd, Anchorage, AK 99503). There will not be a Zoom option this week.
After our normal gathering time, we will have a potluck and community meeting. Please bring something to share and provide the following for yourself/ your family: a drink, plates & utensils, and any serving utensils needed.
We're concluding the planned portion of our season of discernment - conversations and reflections as we listen to the Spirit and each other considering who we are, where we're going, and what God is inviting us to as a community. However, depending on our sense of where we are and where we are going in our community meeting, we may informally extend the season... and of course, discernment never truly ends.
Carol will lead our conversation during our normal gathering time about Care in Community. Please read Acts 4:32-38 and 1 Peter 4:8-10.
Here are some questions to be thinking about:
1. What does it mean for us to be a community that genuinely cares for one another, and what kinds of needs do we want to be prepared to respond to?
2. What would help us develop simple, flexible ways of caring for one another that can respond to changing needs?
3. How can we create a culture of grace and honesty when needs get missed—and how does our presence and participation in the community make it easier to notice and care for one another?
4. What else is important for us to name or notice?
