Volunteers Needed – Bluefield, VA!

Lion of Judah New Life Ministries is seeking volunteers with a heart to serve at our thrift store location in Bluefield, VA.

Every item sold and every dollar raised helps support our mission of opening a recovery home in McDowell County, providing hope, healing, and a new beginning for those struggling with addiction and life-controlling issues.

At this time, we are not financially able to offer paid positions, so we are relying on dedicated volunteers who are willing to give their time to help make this vision a reality.

Volunteer opportunities include:
• Sorting and organizing donations
• Stocking shelves and displays
• Assisting customers
• General cleaning and upkeep
• Helping create a welcoming environment for the community

In return, we will do our best to help our volunteers with clothing, household goods, furniture, and other resources when available. We believe in helping one another and serving our community together.

Whether you can help a few hours a week or several days a week, your support will make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families seeking hope and recovery.

God is opening doors for Lion of Judah New Life Ministries!

We are excited to share that the Lord is moving in mighty ways, and He is opening doors that only He can open. We have some exciting news coming soon for our ministry, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you!

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, supported, donated, volunteered, and believed in the vision God has given us. Your partnership is helping us reach people struggling with addiction, homelessness, and life controlling issues with the hope of Jesus Christ.

This Sunday at 4:00 PM, we will be dedicating our recovery home and ministry building to the Lord. We would be honored to have you join us for this special time as we give God the glory for all He has done and all He is going to do.

One thing I’ve learned is that Satan is called “the accuser of the brethren” for a reason. He will constantly remind you of who you used to be, what you did, how many times you failed, and every mistake you ever made.

He wants people trapped in shame, guilt, addiction, depression, and hopelessness. He wants people to believe they are too far gone for God to love them or use them.

But I thank God that Jesus doesn’t look at us the way the enemy does. ❤️

Where Satan sees our past, God sees our potential.
Where Satan brings condemnation, God brings restoration.
Where Satan says “give up,” God says “get back up.”

Some of the strongest people I know are people who have been broken, addicted, rejected, and knocked down by life but God still had His hand on them the entire time.

Your testimony is not something to be ashamed of. The very thing the enemy tried to use to destroy you may become the thing God uses to help save someone else.

You are not too dirty.
You are not too broken.
You are not too far gone.

Jesus still saves.
Jesus still delivers.
Jesus still restores lives. 🩸🔥

Lion of Judah New Life Ministries is trying to raise $300 to rent another U-Haul so we can bring more donated furniture, household items, clothing, and essentials from Tennessee into McDowell County, West Virginia for families and individuals in need.

So many people in our area are struggling right now, and every load we bring helps furnish homes, support families rebuilding, and assist those trying to get back on their feet through recovery and hardship.

McDowell County has been hit hard by addiction, poverty, and loss, but we believe hope is stronger. 💙
