To know God... really know him, not just know about him... is already to begin living the life that has no end. It begins now, in the quiet of your morning prayer. It begins now, in the moment you choose mercy over resentment. It begins now, in the Eucharist you receive on Sunday.

How well do you know Him?
The Catechism puts it this way: "Eternal life is the life of the Most Holy Trinity, the life that we have already begun by faith and that we will live forever in the vision of God." (CCC 1721)

The Ascension is not Christ's departure from us. It is his expansion into us. He is no longer bound by a single body in a single place. Through the Spirit who comes at Pentecost, he is now present in every tabernacle, in every prayer, in every act of love performed in his name.
Today the Church looks upward - not in nostalgia for what is gone, but in anticipation of what is coming.

So many of us carry burdens we have never actually placed before God in prayer. We assume He is too busy. We assume our concerns are too small, or too embarrassing, or too tangled to bring to Him. We have grown used to handling them ourselves.
What is the one thing you have been carrying alone this week? Ask. Today.

In a culture that treats labor as a means to an end, Isidore reminds us that ordinary work, done with love, is itself a path to holiness. The plow can be an altar.

St. Isidore the Farmer, pray for all who work the land and for all who eat the food they grow.

St. Matthias was chosen by lot to replace Judas. Not by vote. Not by resume. By trust in the Holy Spirit. The early Church prayed together and then cast lots and God guided the outcome. Do you trust God in YOUR decisions?
