Five Ways to Make 2024 Your Best Year Yet!
God is at work. Let's be the kind of people who are ready to be the hands and feet of Jesus on earth. Here's how...
Embrace Personal Responsibility:
Take full responsibility for your life, choices, and actions. You have the God-given power to shape your own future. The day a person comes into full maturity is the day they take ownership of every area of their life.
Ezra 10:4 ESV
“Arise, for it is your task, and we are with you; be strong and do it.”
Seek Purpose and Vision:
Seek guidance from God to discover your life purpose and vision. Having a clear sense of purpose provides direction and motivation. Purpose and Vision are your “What” and “Why” for everything you do.
Proverbs 16:3 ESV
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
Practice Gratitude:
Appreciate the blessings in your life, even amidst challenges. Gratitude fosters resilience and a positive outlook. Gratitude is the lubricant to a well running life. Gratitude is a superpower. Gratitude makes you think more clearly and make better decisions.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 ESV
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Build Resilience:
With internal resilience, you will overcome challenges. You build resilience by developing coping mechanisms, talking yourself out of bad situations, seeking support from others, and maintaining a positive mindset during difficult times.
Isaiah 40:31 ESV
“but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Take Action:
Standing still when you need to act will cause you to miss opportunities. Take action and don’t wait for someone else to solve your problems. We all have to step out of our comfort zones and move actively towards our goals.
1 Peter 1:1
“Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
