(의미있는 성탄절) 크리스마스 이야기는 아름다운 이야기 입니다. 중요한 문제는 이 이야기는 여러분에게 어떤 의미가 있습니까? 하나님은 이 성탄절에 대해서 무슨 말씀을 하고 계십니까? 이 이야기는 여러분의 삶에 어떤 영향을 끼치고 있습니까? 마태복음 2장을 보며는 예수님의 탄생에 대해서 여러가지 사람들의 반응이 나옵니다. 그 때 당시에 종교인들은 예수님의 탄생에 관심이 없었습니다. 2장에 동방박사가 나옵니다. 아마도 바벨론에 있는 학자 이였을 것입니다. 바벨론은 페르시아 지역입니다. 동방박사들은 이미 구약을 보고 메시아가 배들레헴에서 태어났다는 것을 이미 알고 있습니다. 그들은 약 1000마일을 여행했습니다. 그들의 학력, 영향력을 보며는 더 많은 사람들이 같이 여행했을 것입니다. 그들은 오는 도중에 위험도 있을 것이고 텐트도 쳤을 것입니다.여행하는데 많은 어려움이 있었을 것입니다. 그리고 별만 바라보고 1000마일의 여행을 한다는 것은 쉬운 일이 아닙니다. 그들의 여행의 목적은 단 한가지 입니다. 그들이 말하기를 “우리는 유대인의 왕을 보려고 왔다고.” 말합니다. 예수를 보려고 그렇게 어려운 여행을 할것입니다. 본문을 보며는 놀라운 사실은 오히려 바리새인과 사두개인들은 이미 메시아에 대한 성경적인 지식을 가지고 있지만 동방박사의 말을 듣고 전혀 움직임이 없었습니다. 예수님을 찾지 않습니다. 아마 종교인들을 동방박사의 말을 듣고 “당신들이 별에 의해서 이렇게 먼곳까지 왔다면 이 때는 매우 결정적인 메시아가 태어날 시기라는 것을 짐작했을 것입니다. 그들은 실은 메시아를 기다렸습니다. 로마의 지배에서 해방시킬 메시아를 기다렸습니다. 당연히 그들의 반응은 “당신들의 말이 맞다면 메시아가 이곳에서 태어났다면 그렇다면 그분이 어디 있는지 찾아보아야 합니다.” 이렇게 말을 했어야 합니다. 그들은 동방박사의 말을 듣고도 전혀 관심이 없고 자기 일을 합니다. 이 진리에 대해서 무시하고 있습니다. 예수님의 탄생에 대해서 무시하고 있습니다. 사두개인, 바리새인들은 평상시에 하는 것 처럼 종교적인 활동을 하고 있는데 그들의 책임은 다 하고 있지만 동방박사의 말을 무시하고 있습니다. 우리도 마찬가지 일수 있습니다. 성탄절을 예수님의 탄생이라는 것을 알고 진심으로 감사하고 예배 드려야 하는 데 그냥 쇼핑, 재미있는 행사, 여행들 세상것, 물질로 가득 차 있습니다. 예수님이 대한 이야기만 빠졌습니다. 아마도 하나님은 이 동방박사의 이야기를 의도적으로 예수님의 탄생의 사건에 개입시키고 있습니다. 동방박사의 이야기는 우리가 크리스마스 행사를 축하하는 이유를 말하고 있습니다. 지금 세상은 점점 더 예수님을 잊어버리고 있고 무시하고 있습니다. 예루살렘에 있는 사람들도 마찬가지 입니다. 우리는 가장 중요한 사건을 잊어버리고 있습니다. 우리를 위해 이 땅에 오신 그 놀라운 은혜를 기억하고 그분께 경배드리고 감사해야 하는데 오히려 내 친구, 내 가족, 내가 원하는 것, 그냥 행사에만 관심이 있습니다. 우리는 어떻게 예수님을 이야기 안하고 크리스마스를 그냥 지날 수 있습니까? 가족들에게 주위 사람들에게 이 예수님이 대해서 이야기 해야 합니다. 오늘 본문을 깊히 보고 묵상해야 합니다. 그분을 찾아야 합니다.

하나님의 말씀 (1)

하나님의 말씀을 듣는 태도와 우리의 삶과 중요한 관계가 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리는 교회에 나올때에 하나님의 말씀에 대한 우리의 태도는 매우 중요합니다. 그것이 결국은 우리의 삶과 연결이 되기 때문입니다. 하나님의 메세지를 들을 때 우리는 두가지 반응을 보일수 있습니다. 첫째는 하나님의 그들의 삶에 무슨 말씀을 하실지 기대합니다. 그리고 많은 것을 깨닫게 됩니다. 어떤 사람은 예배 드리고나서 마음이 비워있고 아무것도 얻지 못하고 그냥 예배 끝나고 교회를 떠납니다. 그 결과 여전히 외롭고 힘들고 인생을 되풀이해서 살게 됩니다. 이 두사람의 차이는 무엇입니까? 한 사람은 하나님의 말씀을 사모하는 마음이 있고 또 한 사람은 그런 사모하는 마음이 없기 때문입니다.

우리는 하나님의 말씀을 듣는 훈련이 필요합니다. 우리는 주일 교회에 그냥 앉으면서 하나님이 말씀을 들을수는 없습니다. 그 이유는 마음에 준비가 안되었기 때문입니다. 우리는 이 내용이 이해가 되면 우리 삶에 놀라운 변화가 일어나게 될것입니다. 여러분은 예배때마다 최상의 것을 얻을 수 있게 됩니다. 하나님의 말씀을 들으려면 우선 하나님의 말씀을 듣기를 사모하는 마음이 있어야 합니다. 우리는 과연 교회에 나갈때에 하나님의 말씀을 듣기를 사모하는 마음으로 나가고 있습니까? 그 말씀의 내용이 무엇이든지 "하나님, 저에게 말씀해 주십시요." 그러한 진지한 마음으로 교회에 나가고 있습니까? 아니면 그냥 습관적으로 나가고 있습니까? 그러한 진지하고 사모하는 마음으로 교회에 나가면 하나님이 분명히 말씀하실 것입니다.

그렇게 사모하는 마음이 없다면 하나님에 대한 마음이 없기 때문입니다.하나님에 대한 마음이 없으면 그때부터 우리 마음이 힘들어지게 됩니다. 우리가 하나님에 대한 사모하는 마음이 없으면 바쁠수록 우리 마음은 외롭고 힘들게 됩니다. 우리는 하나님을 강하게 원하고 무엇인가 얻을수 있다고 기대해야 합니다.

Word of God (1)

There's an important relationship between our lives and our attitudes toward God's words. That is why, when we come to church, our attitudes toward His words matter because it's connected to our lives after all. There are two different types of people when it comes to reacting to God's message. The first is excited to hear what God has to say to them and they realize and learn a lot. The other comes to worship and leaves right after church with their hearts empty. As a result, life gets filled with loneliness and hardships that constantly repeat.

What's the difference between these two types of people? One has a love for the word of God and the other has no such affection. We need to train ourselves to listen to God's words. We can't just sit in for the worship services on Sundays and expect to hear from God. That's because our hearts are not ready. When we fully understand this message, we're going to have an amazing change in our lives. We'll be able to get the best out of every worship services. To hear the word of God, you must first have a desire to hear it.

Do we really come to church wanting and desiring God? Do we really come out to church with a serious heart of wanting to hear God? Or are we just coming to church out of habit? If we go to church with such sincerity and respect, God will surely speak to us. If we don't have the desiring heart, you don't have a heart for God. If we don't have a heart of God, then we have a hard time. The busier we are, the more lonely and difficult our lives get. We need to have a strong desire for God and expect to get something from Him.

그리스도의 형상 (4)

하나님은 모든 환경을 사용하셔서 우리를 빚으시고 깍고 부서뜨리시고 그렇게 함으로서 우리의 자아를 깨뜨림으로써 우리에게서 그리스도의 형상이 나타나게 하십니다. 그렇기 때문에 모든 상처, 고난, 어려움은 이런 선한목적이 있습니다. 하나님은 그 목적을 이루기 위해서 무엇을 사용하십니까? 첫번째로 우리의 가정입니다. 우리는 힘들겠지만 우리의 가정을 통해서 우리를 깍고 빚으십니다.

둘째로 친구나 가까운 사이입니다. 친했던 사람이 여러분을 힘들게하고 상처를 줍니다. 셋째로 실패나 마음이 힘드는 일들입니다. 때때로 하나님은 우리의 삶에서 실패를 경험하게 하십니다. 그것을 통해서 우리를 변회시키시고 성숙케 하시고 그때 우리를 사용하십니다. 사실은 우리는 그러한 실패나 상처를 좋아하지 않습니다. 그것이 하나님이 나를 변회시키시고 축복하시는 도구라면 우리는 그것을 믿음으로 받아드려야 합니다.

하나님은 때로는 우리를 절망가운데 있게 하십니다. 그런데 그 과정을 지나고보니 그때 하나님이 하셨던 놀라운 일들을 깨닫게 됩니다. 그러한 실패나 절망이 없었더라면 오늘의 나는 없었을 것입니다. 이러한 어려움, 힘든 일을 겪게 하시고 이기게 하시고 이 과정에서 우리를 놀랍게 변화시키시고 축복하시는 주님을 찬양하게 됩니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리에게 일어나는 모든 일에는 하나님의 놀라운 사랑의 목적이 있습니다.

The Image of Christ (4)

God uses all our surrounding environments to shape and chisel us. By doing so, God is trying to get rid of our egos and bring out the Christ in us. Therefore all scars and hardships have good purposes. What does God use to fulfill his purpose in our lives? He, first, uses our families. Though it might be hard for us, God uses our families to shape and chisel us.

Secondly, he uses our close friends. God uses those who are close to us to give scars and hardships. Furthermore, God uses failures and situations that are burdensome for us. At times, God allows failures in our lives. Through that, he changes us, and helps us grow, then uses us.

We truly do not want and like failures and scars. However, if God says those are the channels of blessings and wants us to change through those failures and hardships, we need to accept those in faith. God sometimes puts us in despair and we come to realize the amazing things that God did after we overcome despair. Without such failure or despair, we would not be here today. We praise the Lord, who brought us through these hardships to a victory, who made remarkable changes in us and blessed us in the process. So everything that happens to us has the purpose of God's wonderful love.

그리스도의 형상 (3)

그리스도처럼 변화되는 것을 이해하려면 "안에 있는것이 나타나다" (unveiling)을 이해해야 합니다. 우리가 예수 믿을때 예수님이 우리 안에 거하십니다. 하나님은 우리가 무엇을 하기를 원하십니까? 예수를 처음 믿은 사람들은 이렇게 고백합니다. 예수 처음 믿을때 너무 좋았는데 갑자기 너무 어려운 일이 왔습니다. 이해가 안됩니다. 왜 이렇게 가정에서 교회에서 직장에서 어려운 일이 계속 생깁니까? 전에는 이렇게 어려운 일이 없었는데요 우리는 그때 그 사람을 너무 불쌍히 생각하고 기도하고 또한 도와주려고 합니다. 사실은 하나님이 그러한 어려운 일을 통해서 놀라운 일을 하려고 하십니다.

우리는 스스로 노력해서 예수처럼 변화되지 않습니다. 우리가 결심하는대로 되지 않습니다. 그러면 하나님이 우리를 예수의 형상으로 변회시키기 위해 모든 일을 결정하셨다면 우리는 무엇을 해야 합니까? 우리는 더 나은 사람이 되기 위해서 무엇인가 더하려고 합니다(try to put something). 아닙니다. 하나님은 우리를 예수님처럼 변회시키기 위해서 무엇을 없에려고 하십니다. 이것이 우리가 알아야 할 중요한 영적진리입니다. 즉 자아(ego)를 없애려고 하십니다. 그래야 우리 안에 있는 예수가 나타나십니다. 그렇기 때문에 하나님은 상처, 어려운 일들을 통해서 우리를 빚으시고 깍으십니다(shaping and chisel). 그렇게 함으로써 우리의 자아를 없애고 우리 안에 있는 예수를 나타나게 하십니다. 이것이 진정한 변화입니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리에게 일어나고 있는 모든 일들은 선한 목적이 있습니다. 즉 우리의 자아를 없에고 예수를 나타나게 하십니다. 그렇기 때문에 어려운 일이 있거나 오해가 있을때 우리는 불평하거나 다른 사람을 미워해서는 안됩니다. 우리의 자아를 없에고 예수님이 나타나게 되는 축복의 통로이기 때문입니다.

The Image of Christ (3)

In order to understand the process of changing into a figure like Christ, we first need to understand the word “unveiling”. When we believe in Jesus, he lives in us. If so, what does God want us to do? When we look into the lives of those who just started believing in Christ, they often confess that when they first started believing in Christ, they were joyful but suddenly hardships came to them which seems to be incomprehensible. They ask why hardships come to their families and at work if there weren't any when they didn't know Jesus. Then, we take pity on them and try to help them and pray for them.

The truth is, God is trying to use those hardships to do amazing things. We cannot change ourselves to be like Christ with our own efforts. We cannot become who we decide to be with our own efforts. Thus, if God had already decided everything in order for him to shape us to be like Christ, what do we have to do? We try to put and do more things in order to become a better person. However, that is not the right way. God, instead, takes things away to shape us to be like Christ. This is an important spiritual truth that we really need to know and understand. This means God is trying to get rid of our egos to show Christ who lives in us. That is why God shapes and chisels us with scars and hardships. This is the real change. All things that are happening in our lives have a good purpose of getting rid of our egos and showing the Christ in us. Therefore, when we have hardships or misunderstandings, we shouldn't complain nor blame and hate others. It's a channel of blessings for us to eliminate our egos and bring out Christ who lives in us.

그리스도의 형상 (2)

하나님의 우리의 날마다의 삶에서 원하시는 목적은 우리를 그리스도의 모습으로 변화 시키시는 것입니다. 먼저 주님은 우리의 의지, 감정, 생각을 그리스도처럼 변화시키기를 원하십니다. 그래서 변화된 내면이 바깥으로 나타나는 것입니다. 성경에 의하면 하나님이 우리를 그리스도의 모습으로 변화시키기로 미리 결정하셨다고 합니다. 마치 사진 안에서 우리를 보시고 그 얼굴에 동그라미를 쳐서 "나는 저 사람을 반드시 그리스도의 모습으로 변화시키겠다고" 선언하시는 것입니다.

우리는 이렇게 잘못 생각하기 쉽습니다. 아, 나는 더 나은 사람이 되야지, 참을성이 있고, 겸손하고, 남을 있는 그대로 사랑하고, 예수님처럼 되야지 그렇게 생각하고 성경 읽고, 기도하고, 봉사하게 됩니다. 그래서 예수님처럼 행동하게 됩니다. 하지만 이렇게 노력했는대도 우리는 나중에 실망하게 됩니다. 생각처럼 변하지 않기 때문입니다. 그 이유는 무엇일까요? 내일 메세지 보내겠습니다.

Image of Christ (2)

God's purpose, in our daily lives, is to transform us into a figure like Christ. First, we want to change our will, emotions, and thoughts, like Christ. The internal change appears externally. According to the Bible, God has already decided to change us into a figure like Christ. It's as if God sees us in the picture and mark our faces on it and declare, "I will change that person into a figure like Christ."We tend to have this wrong mindset that we have to be better and can become a better person by being patient, being humble, loving others, reading the bible, praying, and serving to be like Jesus Christ. We try to act like Jesus Christ. However, even after all this effort, we are disappointed. Because we cannot change with our efforts. Why is that? I will send you a message on that tomorrow.

(그리스도의 형상)

우리는 예수 믿은 다음에 이런 말을 듣게 됩니다. 이제는 예수님처럼 자라야 한다고 듣게 됩니다. 그래서 우리는 결심합니다. 성경을 읽고 기도하고 봉사도하고 열심히 신앙생활을 하게 됩니다. 그런데 시간이 지남에 따라 그렇게 예수님처럼 변한다는것이 어렵다는것을 알게 됩니다. 마치 우리 안에 어떤것이 그렇게 되는것을 막는것 같습니다. 우리의 혼과 자아가(ego)가 예수님처럼 변하는것을 막는것 같습니다.

롬8:28-29을 보면 하나님은 어떤 목적을 가지고 모든 것을 합력하여 선을 이루신다고 말하고 있습니다. 이뜻은 우리에게 일어나고 있는 모든 일에는 하나님이 어떤 목적을 가지고 계시다는 말입니다. 우리에게 일어나고 있는 모든 일은 이 목적에서 벗어날수 없다는 것입니다. 우리는 때가 되면 천국에 갑니다. 그때까지 하나님의 우리에 대한 목적은 예수님처럼 변하게하는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리에게 일어나는 모든 일은 성공,실패, 상처, 이해되지 않는 일들,고난, 이 모든 일들은 우리를 예수의 형상으로 변하게 합니다. 우리는 예수님을 구세주로 영접할때 성령님이 우리 안에 들어 오십니다. 성령님이 우리를 도와주셔서 우리에게서 예수님이 나타나게 합니다. 오늘도 모든 일은 이 목적을 이루기 위해서 일어나고 있습니다. 어떤 어려운 일이 일어날때 "주님, 주님의 뜻과 목적이 이루어지기를 원합니다" 그때 변하게 됩니다.

(The image of Christ)

We hear this often, after believing in Jesus: "Now you have to grow to be like Jesus." So we decide to read the Bible, pray, do volunteer work, and live the life of faith. But we find it difficult to change ourselves to be like Jesus over time. It's like something is trying to stop us from changing. It seems like it's our souls and egos that are stopping us from turning like Jesus.

Looking at Romans 8:28-29, God works for the good of those who love him. This means that God has a purpose in everything that happens to us. All that's happening to us also shows us that we can't get away from this purpose. We go to heaven when the time comes. Until then, God's purpose for us is to be like Jesus. Therefore, everything that happens to us: success, failure, wound, incomprehensible things, hardships, and all of this help us turn into a figure like Jesus. When we welcome Jesus as the Savior, the Holy Spirit comes into us. The Holy Spirit helps us so that Jesus appears in us. Everything is that is happening to us is for this purpose. When something difficult happens, just say, "Lord, I want your will and purpose to be fulfilled." Then it changes.

(하나님의 완전한 사랑)

하나님은 절대적으로 완전하신 분이십니다. 하나님이 전능하시다면 그 전능은 완전합니다. 하나님이 거룩하시다면 온전히 거룩하십니다. 하나님이 모든 것을 아신다면 완전히 다 아십니다. 우리는 때때로 상대방을 모르다가 결혼한후에 실망합니다. 상대방을 잘몰랐다고 생각합니다. 하나님은 그렇지 않으십니다. 완전히 모든것을 다 아시고 여러분의 미래를 다 아십니다. 하나님이 우리를 완전히 사랑한다면 이 사랑에 여러분이 더 보탤것이 없습니다. 우리는 다른 사람을 조건없이 완전히 사랑할수 없습니다. 우리에게는 육이 있기 때문에 편견, 욕심, 이기심, 연약함이 있습니다. 다른 사람을 온전히 사랑할수 없습니다.

하나님이 우리를 완전하게 사랑하신다면 그 완전한 사랑을 막을수 있는 것은 없습니다. 하나님이 우리에게 대한 사랑을 막을것은 아무것도 없습니다. 하나님의 사랑은 영원하고 끊어지지않고 우리의 잘못이나 어떤 상황에도 끊어지지 않습니다. 일단 하나님이 여러분을 사랑하신다면 그 사랑은 완전하고 조건이 없고 영원합니다. 하나님은 여러분을 있는 그대로 사랑하십니다. God loves you just the way you are yesterday, today and forever. 우리가 부족하고 실수할것 다 아시고 영원히 완전히 사랑하십니다. 십자가의 죽음이 그 사랑의 표현입니다. 이 놀라운 사랑을 항상 믿고 느끼고 즐거워하십시요. 우리는 항상 이 사랑안에서 살고 있습니다. 이 놀라운 사랑을 주시기 위해 하나님은 여러분을 창조하셨습니다.

(God’s perfect love)

God is absolutely perfect. God is omnipotent. Being omnipotent means is complete. When God says he is holy, he is completely holy. When God says he knows everything, he really knows everything. Sometimes we don't really know our partner, then we get disappointed after getting married. We say that didn't know our partners well. God does not do that. God knows everything, even our future.

When God says he loves us completely, then we don't have to do anything for this love because it's already perfect. When it comes to our love, we can't love others completely without conditions. We have prejudice, greed, selfishness, and weakness because our love is based on flesh. We can't love others completely. When God says he loves us completely, nothing can stop his perfect love. The love of God is everlasting and unbreakable; it cannot be broken by our sins or under any circumstances. Once God loves us, that love is complete, unconditional and eternal. God loves us as we are. God loves us just the way we were yesterday, today and forever. He knows we make many mistakes and lack so much in his eyes, yet he still loves us with his everlasting love. The death of Jesus on the cross is an expression of love. Always trust, feel and enjoy this amazing love. We are always living in this love. God created us to be in this love and give this amazing love to us.

하나님의 영원한 사랑 (3)

예레미아 31:3, "내가 무궁한 사랑으로 너를 사랑하는고로 인자함으로 너를 인도하였다 하였노라." 무궁한 사랑(everlasting love)은 어떤 뜻입니까? 하나님이 우리에게 대한 사랑을 막을 것은 아무것도 없다는 뜻입니다. 영원하다는 것은 계속된다는 뜻입니다. 영원하다는 것은 아무것도 방해 받지 않는다는 뜻입니다. 저나 여러분이 누구를 사랑할때는 어떤 상황에 의해서 바껴질수 있습니다. 우리가 하나님의 사랑을 생각할때 여러분이 잘못을 했다고해서 하나님의 사랑은 끝나지 않습니다.

우리는 그 영원한 사랑 때문에 더 이상 두려워할 필요가 없습니다. 우리는 자격 받을만한 어떤 일을 하지 못하더라도 어떤 일과 실수가 있더라도 우리의 못난 성품이 있더라도 하나님은 우리를 여전히 사랑하십니다. 우리는 그 사람을 기쁘게 할때에 그 사람은 우리를 사랑하게 됩니다. 하지만 우리가 그 사람을 기쁘게 하지 못할때 그 사람은 더 이상 우리를 사랑하지 않게 됩니다. 그 사랑은 멈추게 됩니다. 하지만 하나님이 나에게 대한 사랑은 그분의 본성에 근거를 두고 있습니다. 우리는 이렇게 생각할수 있습니다. 글쎄요 하나님은 오늘 나를 사랑하시지만 내일은 모르겠습니다. 하나님이 여러분을 사랑하실때 만약이라는 단어는 없습니다. 하나님의 사랑은 영원하고 끊어지지 않고 어떤 상황에도 변하지 않습니다.

롬 8:35-39, "내가 확신하노니 사망이나 생명이나 천사들이나 권세자들이나 현재일이나 장래 일이나 능력이나 높음이나 깊음이나 다른 어떤 피조물이라도 우리를 우리 주 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑에게 끊을 수 없으리라." 여러분이 어떤 일을 해도 하나님의 사랑을 멈추게 할수 없습니다. 이 뜻은 우리는 항상 하나님의 사랑안에서 살고 있다는 뜻입니다. 여러분이 실수가 있고 죄가 있더라도 차이가 없습니다. 하나님의 사랑은 조건이 없고 영원하기 때문입니다. 이 사랑이 우리를 변하게 하고 주님을 온전히 사랑하고 섬기게 합니다. 다른 영혼을 있는 그대로 사랑하게 합니다.

God's eternal love (3)

Jeremiah “At that time,” declares the Lord, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.” What is an everlasting love? It means there's nothing that could stop God's love for us. Everlasting means it is eternal and that it will never be interrupted by something. When we love others, our love can easily change by situations. When we think of God's love for us, we can't automatically think that God's love for us will easily change, like ours, when we do something wrong. We don't have to be afraid because of that everlasting love. God loves us no matter who we are; Even when we sin, and have bad personalities. In our case, when we love others, we have to please them in order to earn love from them.

However, when we can't please them, they no longer love us; And that love stops there. However, God's love for us is focused on his nature. We might think, "God, you might love me today, but I'm not sure about tomorrow." When God loves us, there's no such a thing as "uncertainty." God's love for us is everlasting and unchanging. Romans 8:35-39, "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake, we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Whatever we do, we cannot stop God's love for us. This means we are living in his love. Even when we sin and make mistakes, there will be no difference. That is because his love is unconditional and everlasting. God's love changes us and leads us to love God and serve him. It also leads us to love others as who they are.

하나님의 조건없는 사랑 (2)

하나님의 시각으로 보면 우리는 연약하고 죄인이고 경건치 못하고 하나님의 원수였습니다. 이기적이고 육적으로 살았습니다. 십자가의 메세지는 전능하신 하나님이 우리 인간을 보시고 우리의 연약함, 죄악을 보시고 이렇게 고백하십니다. "나는 저들 한 사람 한 사람을 조건없이 영원히 사랑한단다." 여러분은 하나님의 은혜로 구원 받았습니다. 우리는 구원 받을 아무 조건이 없었고 자격이 없었습니다. 그러나 하나님은 여러분을 영원히 그토록 사랑하십니다. 우리는 이 놀라운 사랑 때문에 주님을 찬양하고 섬기게 됩니다. 그분을 따르기를 원하고 주님을 증거하기를 원하게 됩니다. 하나님의 사랑은 제한이 없고 우리에게 아무 기대도 하지 않으시고 조건이 없으십니다.

하나님은 이 땅에 사는 모든 사람들을 사랑하십니다. 물론 많은 사람들은 주님의 사랑을 거절합니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 하나님은 그들을 사랑하십니다. 여전히 그들을 사랑하십니다. 요한 3장 16절을 보면 "하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사" 하나님은 한 사람 한 사람 여러분을 개인적으로 사랑하십니다. 여러분을 조건없이 있는 그대로 사랑하십니다. 여러분은 앞으로 신앙생활 하시면서 스스로 더 나은 사람이 되고 더 변화될수 있다고 생각할 수 있습니다. 그것은 성경적인 생각이 아닙니다. 주님은 여러분이 변화될수 없는 것을 아시고 2천년전에 여러분을 십자가에 예수님과 함께 못을 박으셨습니다.

여러분의 의지와 노력으로 변화되는 것이 아닙니다. 여러분의 노력으로는 변화되지 않습니다. 왜 그렇습니까? 여러분의 옛 사람은 변화될수 없기 때문입니다. 우리가 더 이상 나아질수 없기 때문에 성령님이 우리 안에 계십니다. 성령님이 도와주십니다. 여러분의 자아는 개선될수 없습니다. 자아는 벗어져야 하는 것이지 개선되는 것이 아닙니다. 여러분은 예수 없이는 변화될수 없습니다. 하나님은 여러분을 있는 그대로 사랑하십니다. 우리가 예수를 믿고도 변화될수 없는 것을 아시고 우리를 있는 그대로 영원히 사랑하십니다. 이 사랑을 믿음으로 받고 느끼고 즐겨야 합니다. 그 사랑이 우리를 변화시키고 우리를 행복하게 합니다.

God’s Unconditional Love (2)

From God's point of view, we were weak, sinful, and his enemies. We lived according to our flesh and selfishness. However, the message of the cross tells us that God Almighty looks at our weakness and sin and confesses, "I love each of them unconditionally and eternally." We were saved by the grace of God when we didn't have anything. God loves us eternally. Because of this wonderful love, we praise, serve, follow him and tell others about his love. God's love is limitless; He has no expectations of us and there are no strings attached to his love.

God loves all who live on this Earth. Of course, many people refuse his love. Nevertheless, God loved them and he still loves them. John 3:16 says, “God so loved the world.” God loves us personally, one by one. He loves us as who we are without conditions. We can now change and become better people as we walk the life of faith. It's not a thought that comes from the Bible. God knew that we cannot change, so God nailed us with Jesus on the cross two thousand years ago.

It doesn't change with our will and efforts. Why? This is because our old-selves cannot be changed. The Holy Spirit is in us because we can't get any better. The Holy Spirit helps. Our egos can't be improved. The ego should be removed, not improved. We cannot be changed without Jesus. God loves us as who we are. He knows that we believe in Jesus and cannot change, and he loves us forever as we are. We have to feel and enjoy this love in faith. The love changes us and makes us rejoice.
