Michelle’s story reminds us what compassion really builds. She didn’t just start serving at our food pantry—she discovered she was a priest of the Lord, carrying His presence to every person she met. As she prayed, listened, and served, her heart was transformed. Compassion didn’t just flow through her; it formed something in her. This is what happens in this house—ordinary people become ministers of our God.
At Dwelling Place Anaheim, compassion isn’t a program we run—it’s a presence we carry. We are not just volunteers meeting needs; we are priests of the Lord—called to host His heart in conversations, homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods.
As we step into Sunday, we’re standing together in gratitude, faith, and expectation—believing God will continue to move through both the big and the ordinary moments of our lives.
We know we can’t change everything, but we can change every day by choosing compassion—one conversation, one step, one person at a time. And every act of compassion becomes an altar where His presence rests.
This month, you can still give toward our Thanksgiving Offering. If you haven’t yet, would you prayerfully consider sowing into this house of compassion? Your generosity helps us build a place where His presence dwells and His mercy flows—not momentarily, but sustainably.
