There are moments when heaven feels close.
Moments where courage rises, chains fall, and new life becomes visible.

This Sunday, we witnessed people publicly declare their yes to Jesus.
Stories of freedom, surrender and of new beginnings.

Baptism is more than a moment in the water.
It’s a line in the sand.
A declaration that the old is gone, and new life has begun.

As a house, we celebrated every testimony, every tear, every smile, and every step of obedience. 🤍

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

The Blood

Everything changed
It’s getting harder to recognize
The person I was
Before I encountered Christ
I don’t walk like I used to
I don’t talk like I used to
I’ve been washed from the inside
I’ve been washed from the inside out

Hallelujah, hallelujah
I know it was the blood
Could’ve only been the blood
Hallelujah, hallelujah
I know it was the blood
Could’ve only been the blood

I cannot explain
But nothing’s more real than this
In the presence of God
Oh, what my heart experienced
When my shame hit the wayside
And my sin met the Most High
I was washed from the inside
I was washed from the inside out

Hallelujah, hallelujah
I know it was the blood
Could’ve only been the blood
Hallelujah, hallelujah
I know it was the blood
Could’ve only been the blood
Could’ve only been Your blood

Oh, so let it wash over
Let it wash over me, yeah, yeah

It’s never been about performance
Perfection or striving for acceptance
Let me tell you
It’s only by the blood

It’s never been about deserving or earning
It’s a gift that’s freely given
Let me tell you
It’s only by the blood

Does anybody wanna be holy, righteous
Purified and spotless?
Let me tell you
It’s only by the blood

Does anybody want to be worthy, forgiven
Justified, really living?
Let me tell you
It’s only by the blood

Hallelujah, hallelujah
I know it was the blood
Could’ve only been the blood
Hallelujah, hallelujah
I know it was the blood
Could’ve only been the blood

Mighty Possibilities

What if the small “what if?” in your heart is the doorway into mighty possibilities?

This week in God Might, Alan invites us to lift our eyes again to the God of the impossible, the One who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. Through stories of seniors encountering Jesus, students praying in schools, unexpected provision, and dreams becoming reality, we’re reminded that God is not just doing something around us — His power is at work within us.

As we lean into Heart for the House, this message calls us to see generosity as more than giving to programs. It is a way of sowing into people, worship, mission, and generations to come. Like Ephesians 2 reminds us, we are His handiwork, created for good works He has already prepared for us to walk in.

Mighty Possibilities is an invitation to dream with God, respond with faith, and believe again that what feels impossible with man is possible with Him.

Worship Moment from Sunday 🙌🏻

HE IS YAHWEH

Who is moving on the waters
Who is holding up the moon
Who is peeling back the darkness
With the burning light of noon
Who is standing on the mountains
Who is on the earth below
Who is bigger than the heavens and the lover of my soul

Creator God, He is Yahweh
The Great I am, He is Yahweh
The Lord of All, He is Yahweh
Rose of Sharon, He is Yahweh
The Righteous Son, He is Yahweh
The Three-in-one, He is Yahweh

Who is He that makes me happy
Who is He that gives me peace
Who is He that brings me comfort
And turns the bitter into sweet
Who is stirring up my passion
Who is rising up in me
Who is filling up my hunger, with everything I need.

Creator God, He is Yahweh
The Great I am, He is Yahweh
The Lord of All, He is Yahweh
Rose of Sharon, He is Yahweh
The Righteous Son, He is Yahweh
The Three-in-one, He is Yahweh

You are holy and eternal
And forever You will reign
Every knee will bow before You
Every tongue will confess Your name
All the angels give You glory
As they stand before Your throne
And here on Earth we gather
To declare Your name alone.

Worship moment from Sunday 🙌🏻

To the One who wore
A crown of thorns
To the One who took
The lash and scourge
For the hands and feet
That were pierced by nails
For the sacrifice
That has torn the veil

We crown You!
We fall face down and we worship!
We all cry out “You are worthy God!”
“You are worthy, God!”

(You are worthy, so worthy)

To the One who gave
His very life away
Who took upon Himself
All our guilt and shame
Hanging on a cross
For the world He loved
With His precious blood
Purchased men for God

To the One
Who еndured
All the shame of the cross
To the Lamb
Who was slain
As atonement for us
To the Son
Who overcame
All the power of death
We praise…

For the stripes
For the wounds
For the beating You bore
For the tears
For the blood
That was willingly poured
For the merciful, wonderful, majesty of Your love!

We crown You!
We fall face down and we worship!
We all cry out “You are worthy God!”
“You are worthy, God!”

Shout to the Lord & Nothing is As Wonderful

“My Jesus, my Savior
Lord there is none like You…”

Sometimes worship doesn’t need to be new.
It just needs to be true.

“Nothing is as lovely,
Nothing is as worthy,
Nothing is as wonderful
As knowing You.”

Grateful for simple moments of turning our attention back to Him.

Michelle’s story reminds us what compassion really builds. She didn’t just start serving at our food pantry—she discovered she was a priest of the Lord, carrying His presence to every person she met. As she prayed, listened, and served, her heart was transformed. Compassion didn’t just flow through her; it formed something in her. This is what happens in this house—ordinary people become ministers of our God.

At Dwelling Place Anaheim, compassion isn’t a program we run—it’s a presence we carry. We are not just volunteers meeting needs; we are priests of the Lord—called to host His heart in conversations, homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods.

As we step into Sunday, we’re standing together in gratitude, faith, and expectation—believing God will continue to move through both the big and the ordinary moments of our lives.

We know we can’t change everything, but we can change every day by choosing compassion—one conversation, one step, one person at a time. And every act of compassion becomes an altar where His presence rests.

This month, you can still give toward our Thanksgiving Offering. If you haven’t yet, would you prayerfully consider sowing into this house of compassion? Your generosity helps us build a place where His presence dwells and His mercy flows—not momentarily, but sustainably.

Every act of mercy releases light. Compassion multiplies when we refuse to keep it contained; when what God does in us flows through us into families, workplaces, and cities. This is how mercy travels faster than fear, how generosity becomes a testimony, and how compassion turns from movement into multiplication.

God’s design was never for compassion to end with us; it’s for compassion to extend through us. When mercy multiplies, cities begin to shine.
