+ Christ is risen!
Last week we congratulated all of the blessed servants who were ordained as subdeacons (Nagy, Andrew), reader (John), and chanters (Micah, Psalm, Antony M., Joey, Antony S. Mike, and Fayez). We also congratulate the blessed servants who were welcomed into the ecclesiastical choir (Isabella, Gianna, Joyce, and Celine). May the Lord bless each one and grant them to serve Him all the days of their lives.

Christ is risen! Truly He is risen!

On behalf of the St. Gregory Church family, we joyfully congratulate our beloved Abouna Moses on his 16th ordination anniversary. We are deeply grateful for your fatherhood, your unwavering love, and your devoted service to our church. May the Lord continue to strengthen you, bless your service, and grant you many more years of fruitful service filled with peace, joy, and blessings.

Wishing you a blessed Palm Sunday!
“A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”” (Matt 21:8-9)

Wishing you a blessed feast of St. Gregory the Theologian, our patron saint! St. Gregory the Theologian (Gregory of Nazianzus) was born in Cappadocia (Arianzus/Nazianzus) in the early 4th century, studied in Caesarea, Alexandria and Athens, and narrowly escaped death in a dangerous sea-storm before he was baptized (after which he devoted himself to God). He became a lifelong friend and fellow-ascetic with St. Basil the Great, was ordained a presbyter by his father and made bishop of a small see (Sasima). Around 379 he aided the Church of Constantinople in combating Arianism, was elected to lead the city but — after disputes and objections at the council — asked to retire and returned to Nazianzus, where he reposed in the Lord in 391.
