Job 15:17
“I will show you; hear me,
and what I have seen I will declare what wise men have told, without hiding it from their fathers.

Eliphaz was sharing what he had learned from those who came before him. While there is value in listening to the wisdom of others, Job’s story reminds us not every piece of advice is God‘s truth. Our wisdom must be measured up against every word in Scripture. We as believers need to be willing to learn from those who have walked before us, while keeping our hearts anchored in the word of God. Job 14:4.
Who can bring what is pure from the impure? No one!

We are reminded in this passage that we cannot make ourselves righteous by our own efforts. We are born of a sinful nature, and no amount of trying harder can completely remove the stain of sin. Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves. Our past does not define our future! God’s grace takes what is broken and makes it new. The one thing about our great God, as He doesn’t ask us to clean ourselves up before coming to him. He invites us to come as we are and let Him make us new.

Job 13:3
But I desire to speak to the Almighty and to argue my case with God.

People have opinions, but Job was tired of hearing them. He wanted to take his questions directly to God. Even in all his pain and confusion he knew where he needed to turn. People don’t always understand what we’re going through. There’s times we don’t understand ourselves, but we can always go to God with our troubles. He’s not afraid of your questions, He already knows your heart, your fears and your struggles. Go to Him honestly and tell Him. Faith doesn’t always mean we have every answer, but what it does mean is we know where to take our troubles to. Have a blessed day, my friend.

Job 8:7
And though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great.

We are reminded here that where we are today doesn’t determine where God can take us tomorrow. Our God specializes in taking small beginnings and using them for His purposes, a small step of faith, a simple act of obedience or a quiet prayer can become the beginning of something very very great. Job7:1
“Has not man a hard service on earth, and are not his days like the days of a hired hand?

We are reminded in this passage, there are seasons in life where it’s just hard and the struggles seem never ending. Job was exhausted, discouraged, and wondering how much longer he could go on. Everyone of us experience seasons in life like this. There’s days when we become tired of circumstances, tired of waiting or simply tired from carrying the burdens of everyday life, but we have to remember even in those tough moments God has never abandoned us. Our strength may fail, but His never does. Lean on Him when times are tough. The God who carried you yesterday will give you strength for today! Have a blessed day my friend!

Job 6:6
Is tasteless food eaten without salt, or is there flavor in the white of an egg?

Life sometimes feels empty. Things that once brought us lots of joy may seem empty and circumstances may leave us wondering where God is. Even when life loses its flavor, our Jesus remains faithful. Circumstances in life change, our emotions change, and our strength may fail, but our Savior does not! Job 5:9.
He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.
Sometimes we look at our circumstances and wonder, how is God gonna work this out? But we are reminded that God is able to do things far beyond what we can understand or imagine. There will be times when we cannot see what He is doing, but that doesn’t mean He’s doing nothing. His wisdom is greater than ours, His power is unlimited, and His plans are often working in ways we cannot see. We may not understand what God is doing, but we can always trust the God who is doing it. have a blessed day, my friend.

A word was secretly brought to me, my ears caught a whisper of it.

Job’s friend Eliphaz describes receiving a message in the night, a quiet whisper that caught his attention. Sometimes God does not speak through dramatic events . Sometimes He speaks ever so quietly, reminding us of His presence and guiding our hearts. Sometimes His greatest encouragement comes in a quiet whisper: I am here. Trust me. You’re not alone. Job 2:2-3
And the LORD said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Satan answered the LORD and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.” And the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil? He still holds fast his integrity, although you incited me against him to destroy him without reason.”

Think about what Job had already lost, yet God knew his heart. Satan thought his faith would disappear when life became painful, but again God knew Job’s heart. Life sometimes brings trials we never expected and we wonder why God allowed these things to happen or at times why He is silent. But we must remind ourselves that God sees what others cannot, He sees our heart, our faith and our perseverance. We are not promised an easy life, but God promised to never leave us or forsake us. Remember, our circumstances may change, but God never will. Have a blessed day.

Job 1:1
There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil.

We meet a man here whose character mattered more than his circumstances. He was blameless, upright, God-fearing, and committed to turning away from evil. We are reminded that our testimony is not what we possess, but who we are when life is difficult. We can’t always control what happens around us, but we can choose how we live before God. May our lives reflect that same kind of Integrity Job demonstrated in his. Have a blessed day.
