2 Chronicles 28:9
But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded.

In the middle of defeat and spiritual darkness, the Lord still had a voice. The prophet Oded was willing to stand courageously and delivered a tough message when others were doing wrong. God always has faithful people who are willing to speak truth, show compassion and point people back to God. Sometimes the greatest act of courage is simply standing where The Lord places you and speaking what He says. Be willing to stand for truth even when it is unpopular. Have a blessed day my friend!

2 Chronicles 27:6
So Jotham became mighty, because he ordered his ways before the LORD his God.

Much like we do today Jotham lived in difficult times, he was surrounded by people who were corrupt, yet he chose a different path. His life reminds us that we can still live faithfully even when the culture around us does not honor God. We do not become strong spiritually by accident. 2 Chronicles 26:16
But when he was strong, he grew proud, to his destruction. For he was unfaithful to the LORD his God and entered the temple of the LORD to burn incense on the altar of incense.

Success has a way of testing us. Sometimes we handle hardship better than prosperity. We are reminded here to stay humble when God blesses us. Keep praying when things are going. 2 Chronicles 25:9
And Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what shall we do about the hundred talents that I have given to the army of Israel?” The man of God answered, “The LORD is able to give you much more than this.”

Sometimes obedience to the Lord feels costly. Amaziah had already paid the soldiers, and from a human standpoint, dismissing them seemed like a financial loss. God simply reminded him that obedience is never wasted. What we surrender for the Lord can never compare to what he is able to provide. 2 Chronicles 24:15-16
But Jehoiada grew old and full of days, and died. He was 130 years old at his death. And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, and toward God and his house.

Jehoida was not a King, yet his life left a godly impact on a nation. He was honored because he lived for something greater than himself. This passage reminds us that a meaningful life is not measured by wealth, fame, or power, but by faithfulness to God and service to others. We have an opportunity to leave behind a spiritual Legacy. 2 Chronicles 23:16
And Jehoiada made a covenant between himself and all the people and the king that they should be the LORD’s people.

This is a reminder to all of us that spiritual renewal begins with surrender. We don’t just change the rulers, we renew our relationship with the Lord. It’s easy to drift, spiritually overtime. Distractions, compromises, and the pressures of life can slowly pull our hearts away from God. God has always desired people who are fully devoted to Him. 2 Chronicles 22:7
But it was ordained by God that the downfall of Ahaziah should come about through his going to visit Joram.

Ahaziah followed, ungodly council, and walked into danger because he aligned himself with wickedness. The people we follow and listen to in life shape our direction. God causes us to seek wise, godly influences rather than compromise with sin. Stay close to the Lord, seek wise council, and trust that God is sovereign over every circumstance. Have a blessed day.

2 Chronicles 21:10
So Edom revolted from the rule of Judah to this day.

When people drift from God, the effects eventually show up in every area of their life. They distance themselves from God, and therefore it weakens their spiritual strength, damages leadership, and opens the door to confusion and unrest. 2 Chronicles 20:5-6.
Then Jehosaphat stood up in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem at the temple of the Lord in the front of the new courtyard and said: O Lord, God of our fathers, are You not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in Your hand, and no one can withstand You.

Our faith grows when we rehearse who God is. Fear shrinks when we remember Who is in control. Before you face what’s coming today, Pause and say to yourself, God, you are in control! You are able and nothing is too hard for you. have a blessed day, my friend.

He told them, consider carefully what you do, because you are not judging for man, but for the Lord.

We are reminded here that God is concerned, not only with what we do, but how we do it. Every responsibility we are given, whether at home, at work, in ministry, or relationships is an opportunity to serve him faithfully.
