🍇 MORE FRUIT THAN SENSE 🍇

What if we stopped allowing our five senses to control our lives and started producing more of the nine fruits of the Spirit?

We have a carnal life and a spiritual life. Our five senses—what we see, hear, feel, taste, and touch—can constantly try to influence how we think, feel, and react. But as believers, we are called to walk in the Spirit!

📖 “Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” — Galatians 5:16

When we walk in the Spirit, our emotions don’t have to drive us—our spirit drives us.

We don’t have to react to everything we see.
We don’t have to be controlled by everything we feel.
We don’t have to let circumstances dictate our attitude.

Instead, we can walk in:

🍇 Joy
🍇 Peace
🍇 Patience
🍇 Kindness
🍇 Goodness
🍇 Faithfulness
🍇 Gentleness
🍇 Self-control

I never realized how much golf and Scripture have in common… until today.

I’m currently sitting behind NINE golfers on ONE hole. 😅

Nine golf carts.
Nine people.
Twenty-seven minutes…
…to play one hole.

The funny part? Every single person waits, watches, and cheers while each golfer hits. They aren’t rushing anyone. They’re patient with each other, even if none of them are breaking 100.

It made me think…

Patience isn’t just a golf skill—it’s a Kingdom principle.

“But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” — James 1:4

We all want God to hurry up.
We want the blessing now.
The answer now.
The breakthrough now.

But just like on the golf course, sometimes you’re not waiting because you’re being punished… you’re waiting because it’s simply not your turn yet.

Maybe today, instead of getting frustrated, God is teaching us to trust His timing.

Now be honest… what’s the longest you’ve ever had to wait on a tee box? ⛳😂
