Covenant Presbyterian Church

Covenant Presbyterian Church Worship Jesus with us. Covenant is an Orthodox Presbyterian Church holding to The Westminster Confession of Faith. We offer biblical, God-centered worship.

What we Believe

In the Trinity...
We believe in one God in three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the same in substance and equal in power and glory. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, God manifest in the flesh, God and man with two distinct natures and one Person forever. We believe in the Holy Spi

rit, the Third Person of the Trinity, Who participates with the Father and the Son in all works of creation, providence and redemption. In the Fall of Man...
We believe that all mankind is in a state of sin and misery as a result of Adam’s first sin. The corruption of man’s nature, all actual transgressions and consequent death proceed from Adam’s original sin. “By one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” (ROMANS 5:12)

In God’s Plan of Redemption…
We believe that the only Savior from this state of sin and death is the Lord Jesus Christ, Who through His redeeming work, purchased our salvation. “Christ died for our sins-He was buried-He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.”

(I CORINTHIANS 15:3,4) We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to consummate God’s plan of salvation for those who believe. In the Holy Scriptures…
We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the Word of God and the only and infallible rule of faith and practice. “The Supreme Judge, by whom all controversies of religion are to be determined, …and in whose sentence we are to rest, can be no other but the Holy Spirit speaking in the Scripture.”

"I have traveled to Ukraine several times over the years, but this was my first visit to the beautiful city of Kyiv. Standing there on the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion felt surreal. The war that has reshaped this nation continues with no clear end in sight, and the cost has been staggering. Both sides have suffered enormous casualties, and nearly every Ukrainian family carries some burden from the conflict. Yet what struck me most during my time there was not only the weight of the suffering, but also the resilience of the people—and the quiet, steady work of God in the midst of it."
