October is Ministerial Staff Appreciation Month and at FBC Amory we would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to Bro. Allen, Bro. Jared, Bro. Justin and Mrs. Aimee, who faithfully serve our church and our community!

Ministry is more than what happens on Sunday morning. It’s the late nights, early mornings, hospital visits, phone calls, prayers, counseling, preparation, encouragement, and countless unseen moments of service.

We are incredibly thankful for a ministerial staff that loves Jesus, His Church, and the people of FBC Amory. Your faithfulness, sacrifice, leadership, and willingness to serve make a difference in more lives than you may ever know.

This month, we want to intentionally pray for, encourage, and appreciate our ministerial staff. Take a moment to let them know how much their ministry means to you!

It's CANDY time!! We need candy for the Fall Thing on October 28th! Please drop off all candy (including both snack size & full size candy bars) in the blue bin in the hallway outside of the gym or in the church office. Yesterday, we had the privilege of ordaining Brian Palmer as a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Amory!

We are grateful for Brian’s heart for the Lord, his willingness to serve, and his commitment to the ministry of our church. The office of deacon is a meaningful calling to serve the body of Christ with humility, faithfulness, and love.

Please join us in congratulating Brian and praying for him as he begins this important season of service. May the Lord continue to use him to strengthen our church and bring glory to His name!
