The Kingdom's Way

The Kingdom's Way We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and we have been called to be doers of the Word according to His will.

I was thinking, I know that's dangerous.... but I have been thinking about something. The past few days The Lord keeps showing me the church, moreover the body, the people, the congregation, the members. Now, what He's shown me is this. He showed me people going in and going out of the church building and going back to their lives as usual, like they lived it right before they walked in to the building. 45 minutes to an hour later you leave with no change. You can't just go to church for 45 minutes to an hour once a week, and have no change and call yourself a Christian. Going to church once a week, giving God your 45 minutes to an hour and checking it off your list of things done for that week no more makes you a Christian than going to a football game makes you a football player. Or basketball game makes you a basketball player. Just because you drive everyday doesn't mean you're a NASCAR or INDY race car driver. Or putting on a cowboy hat makes you a cowboy. More likely most "Christians" are like the lip syncer who gets up on stage and pretends to be the singer of the song. You know the difference between being real and a fake? It's the heart. It's giving your life for that lifestyle. It's practicing everyday. It's devotion. Preparing for the game. I know, I know, you say I'm being mean, and I'm being unsympathetic to you. I'm being uncaring and unloving. No, I do care and I do love you. The problem is there is no correction in the body of Christ today. We go to church. Sing three songs. Somebody gives announcements. Give an offering. Preacher preaches for 20-25 minutes because we have to be out and at lunch for noon. One more song. Prayer. Dismissal. Tell me, does that sound familiar. And then you leave and are never changed. This is not a shot at churches or Christians. I'm telling you there's MORE! MORE to being a Christian. More to this life! God has MORE for you and it's not in that building 45 to an hour once a week. I'm not saying don't go to church! I'm saying get in His word. Get on your face and pray! I'm saying tell someone what He's done for you and how He changed you! I'm saying go deeper in the Spirit. Seek Him! THEN when you go to church on Sunday you're a changed person before you go in! And when all of the changed people go in? The atmosphere is changed and electrified! And you're not dependent on the man with the microphone to feed you and make you feel better. Because guess what! It's not his job! It's his job to hear from God and bring forth the word that God gave him. You are not a baby and don't need to be fed! You feed yourself daily. Some three and four times a day. It's your job to feed yourself daily on the word of God. Not his! Yours! So anyway, this could preach all day but I won't. I'll stop right here with this... be what you call yourself. A Christian. Take up your cross and follow Him! Daily!

Think about it....with your heart. Not your head.

When you hear the word forgive, what comes to mind? To stop feeling angry or resentful toward (someone) for an offense? Or perhaps to cancel a debt? As in your debt has been forgiven. Those are all good and right in the English language. But what if I told you it was more than that? The word forgive in the Greek is aphiémi and the literal meaning is send away, let go, release, permit to depart. Now, if you forgive or send away someone and have let them or it go and released them from their offense and permitted them to depart with your forgiveness? How can you still hold a grudge? How can you still have hard feelings? If you've sent something away? Or released something? Or let something go? It's no longer there! Correct?! But if you're still harboring that offense? Then you've given that hurt and offense a home and it's still with you and you've yet to send it away, let it go, release it, and permitted it to depart! You HAVE to send it away! Let it go! Release it! Like releasing balloons into the sky. Eventually they float out of sight and you can no longer see them. That's true forgiveness. Releasing the offense so that you can NO LONGER SEE IT.

“He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

““And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.””
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:25-26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:31-32‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:12-13‬ ‭ESV‬‬

What if when Paul said "forgiving each other AS The Lord has forgiven you" he meant to forgive just like, in the same manner, removing the transgression from the transgressor. Not to just forgive "like" but just like! Can you remove the transgression as far as the east is from the west?! That's a whole 'nother level!

A word from Pastor Jeff:

In the Gospel of Mark it tells us that Jesus sent the disciples across the Sea of Galilee but agreed to meet them later. Once they were 3-4 miles off the shore a gale force storm arose and they began to struggle with rowing the boat and staying alive. The boat represents the church in this story and Mark continues to tell us that Jesus intended to pass them by when He began to walk on the water. But thankfully the disciples saw Him and after their fear of Him they realized who He was and He boarded the boat with them and calmed the sea. Mark 6:45-52

Remember, our storms will come in life but we have to seek Jesus in them to be saved. If not, He may just pass us by.

Thank you to everyone who helped our ministry by donating money and school uniforms. We collected almost $1000 and were able to purchase new school uniforms for children who were in need. We were also able to purchase pencils and paper for a local school.

Fasting for our country and the church in America

Over the past few weeks the church and this country as a whole have come under attack. This attack is not and can not be fought in the natural. This is a spiritual attack that we as a body of believers and a church HAVE TO FIGHT IN THE SPIRIT. This is a war that will not be won in a courtroom, a voting booth, in congress, or by replacing a president. This is a war fought and won in the spirit. You can't preach and win this! You can't point a finger and blame someone else and win this battle. It is not won by crying that this offended me and that offended me! You can't just SAY that need to do this or we need to do that! You can not just be a talker! Talking with no action has gotten us nowhere in this country! We NEED ACTION! Stop running your mouth and DO SOMETHING! This war is won in the spirit plain and simple! That's why as the head of The Kingdom's Way Ministries and a man of God; I am calling for a time of fasting and prayer. It's biblical and it is spiritual warfare. I'm not going to post scriptures backing it up and I'm not going to sugarcoat why we as the church in America should be doing this. We started our fast a week ago. This fast is because we as the church in America need God's intervention and help. The attack is not going to stop on the church. I'm asking other churches and Christians to sacrifice something for this fast for the next two weeks. We are fasting meats and sweets. I am asking for other churches around this area to join us in this fast. Fasting and praying for The Lord to step in and help His bride. If you believe that this country and world need a supernatural intervention then do something and join us in this fast for the next two weeks. Hit like and share this with your friends and pastors. It's time for action.

"Never let who you were on a bad day define the rest of your life. Noah got drunk but that's not his legacy. David was a murderer and an adulterer but that's not his legacy. Thomas doubted for one moment but his legacy was far greater than that one moment of doubt. Anybody that tries to say they never had a bad day or a moment of weakness is a hypocrite. And never look down at someone and say you never would have done that because you don't know what you would have done in that moment. Never let who you WERE on a bad day or a weak moment define the rest of your life."

Damon Thompson

That's good stuff right there! Somebody needs to receive that.
