A Season of Celebration at Hope Church
Be with us as Hope Church enters a meaningful period of celebration. Over the coming weeks, we are gathering to honor five special occasions that highlight the spirit and vitality of our faith community and celebrate life in its many forms.
Installation of Assistant Pastor
Sunday, September 20 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (During Sunday Service)
- We will celebrate the installation of Minister Xinef Afriam (a member of the Anderson Family Downline) as the Assistant Pastor of Hope Church.
Memorial Service for Judy Roncalli
Friday, September 25 | 1:00 PM (Hope Church Sanctuary)
- We will gather for a memorial service and brief time of fellowship to honor and celebrate the life of our dear Judy Roncalli, who made her transition on August 10th.

Sunday, September 27 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (During Sunday Service)
- Bro. Keith’s 72nd Birthday Celebration: Honoring our Praise and Worship Leader, Keith L. Middleton.
- In Loving Memory of Rhonda Gordon: A moment of acknowledgment for our beloved administrator, minister of music, and vision keeper who passed away on this date in 2020.
-Welcome Back Rev. Mother Gloria Lomax: Celebrating her return to in-person service after many years participating via Zoom.
75th Birthday Party for Pastor Rev. Carlos W. Anderson

- We invite everyone to a reception and party in the Hope Church Sanctuary to celebrate the life and 75th birthday of our beloved Pastor, Rev. Carlos W. Anderson!
Pastor’s Birthday & Sabbatical Send-Off
Sunday, October 4 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (During Sunday Service)
- We will continue celebrating Pastor Anderson’s birthday and officiate a proper send-off as he prepares for his upcoming sabbatical.
We at Hope Community Church have learned the refrain “I’m not tired yet” and apply that to a series of busy-ness that by all accounts is a blessing from God. We have before us an opportunity to understand that the word ‘celebration’ is not akin to simple joy, but to the ever present power of God whom in every transition of every kind, is at work, and our ability through faith to see it and embrace its mighty power. Let us rejoice for the lives of this community, for the years we have been given to walk this earth walk together, and each and every opportunity we have to celebrate the goodness of God through it all.
