Today at Hope Church, 2-4:30pm

A workshop for the Hope community as we deal with collective grief from loss within our community.

"Our community has suffered yet another loss and we are collectively exploring ways to cope and heal and be together in community. Join us on Saturday afternoon for a workshop offered specifically to Hope Community members as we hold space for this complicated journey. This, my beloveds, we do together. Minister Xinef."

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

From Sorrow to Celebration: Cultivating Lament and Joy in our Journey

Embark on a journey of self-expression and a deeper exploration of how we understand both lament and joy in our lives.

During this talk, We will delve into the transformative power of expressive writing for communal grief practices and how this form of expression creates openings for healing and spiritual depth. We discuss the emotional highs and lows of grief and the “unspeakable joy” that can be found in even the most challenging moments.

facilitated by Lynette Davis & Kaia Jackson

*Free, donations welcome for facilitators

For Judy, Jacki, Rhonda, David, Danny, Steve Jefferson, Crystal, Norma Jean, bro. George and on and on and all those we've still not been able to grieve as a community - hope to see you there if you're willing and able!
