Before we begin today's devotion, I want to share that I will be taking a break from posting devotions. THERE WILL BE NO DEVOTION POSTS FOR TWO WEEKS, AND THEY WILL RESUME ON JUNE 8TH, 2026.

I am taking this time to step away to rest, pray, and spend quiet moments with the Father just like Jesus did during his ministry. When we read the Gospels, we see Him withdrawing from the crowds to renew His spirit in prayer and stillness. In my spiritual journey, I have learned that rest is not a weakness. It is part of faithfulness. Sometimes we all need moments to slow down, breathe deeply, and allow God to renew our hearts and minds. It is time for me to do the same.

Now let’s begin today’s devotion.

Sometimes, the journeys we get on take twists and turns we never anticipated. As we grow and change, fatigue can set in, making the path feel overwhelming. Yet, in those moments of weariness, it's our faith that keeps us going, reminding us that there’s still more to achieve and the race isn’t over. Each step, even the tough ones, brings us closer to our destination.

Today’s devotion is titled Keep Running. I invite you to read Hebrews 12:1-2. Here are questions to reflect on as you read. What feels heavy or exhausting in your life right now? What helps you keep moving forward in faith? What might God be inviting you to release? How does focusing on Christ strengthen your journey?

The writer of Hebrews describes faith as a race: “Let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us…” This is not a sprint. It is a lifelong journey. There are moments of joy. Moments of struggle. Moments when we feel strong and moments when we feel weary.

So, the writer gives this encouragement: “Lay aside every weight…”Anything that keeps us from moving forward in faith is something we are invited to release. Then comes the focus: “Looking to Jesus…” Jesus is both the example and the strength for the journey ahead. We do not run alone. We run with our eyes fixed on Christ.

And this speaks directly to our everyday lives. Life can feel exhausting at times, and faithfulness can require perseverance. But God calls us to keep moving forward, releasing what weighs us down and trusting Christ to guide and strengthen us for the journey ahead.

Life Application: Release unnecessary burdens. Identify something weighing down your heart and place it before God. Keep your focus on Christ. When distractions or discouragement rise, return your attention to Jesus. Keep taking faithful steps. Even slow progress is still progress. Allow yourself to rest when needed. Perseverance includes healthy rhythms of renewal and restoration. Encourage someone else along the journey. Your words may help another person keep running faithfully.

Prayer: Faithful God, life's journey can often feel overwhelming, stretching us thin and testing our determination. In those moments, help us seek the strength to push through and keep moving forward. Help us, God, to find comfort in letting go of burdens that drag us down and refocusing our thoughts on Christ. Help us remember Your presence guides us, reminding us that we are never alone on this path. We pray in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen!

This week, we were reminded that God walks with us into every new season. We learned that courage grows through God’s presence; God is still at work in us; new beginnings are always possible with Him; God continues to work even when we do not understand; and we are called to keep moving forward in faith. Life does not stand still. There are always new seasons, new challenges, new opportunities, and new unknowns ahead. But through every step, God remains faithful. We may not always see the full path ahead, but we can trust the One who walks beside us.

As we close this series, we carry this truth: God is with us in uncertainty, in ordinary life, and in every step forward.

As these devotions pause for a short season, may you continue to walk closely with God in your daily life. Hold onto His promises, stay rooted in His presence, and remember that He walks with you wherever you go.

Grace and peace to you all, and I look forward to reconnecting with you again on June 8th.

Have a great and blessed Memorial Day Weekend!

God Bless You All!

Does life really make sense? Think about your life and how much you have been through. There are times in life when everything feels chaotic, moments that catch us off guard and leave us wondering. Situations we would never choose for ourselves, yet they unfold in ways we can't understand. In those cases, all we can do is endure and hope that one day we might look back and find clarity in the confusion.

Today’s devotion is titled God Works for Good. I invite you to read Romans 8:28. Here are questions to reflect on as you read. Where do you struggle to trust God’s work in your life? Have you ever recognized God’s goodness only in hindsight? What difficult situation do you need to place in God’s hands today? How does this verse encourage you in uncertain seasons?

Paul writes: “We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.” This verse does not say that all things are good. Some experiences are painful. Some seasons are difficult. Some circumstances leave us with questions.

But Paul reminds believers that God is able to work even through brokenness, difficulty, and uncertainty. God’s goodness is not limited by our circumstances. He can bring growth from struggle, hope from hardship, and purpose from pain. This does not mean we always understand how God is working immediately. Often, we only recognize it later, looking back.

And this speaks directly to our everyday lives. There are seasons when life feels confusing or difficult, and we may wonder where God is in it all. But faith reminds us that God continues working, even in situations we do not fully understand. His grace can bring hope, growth, and healing over time.

Life Application: Bring your questions honestly to God. Faith does not require pretending everything is easy. Trust God beyond what you can currently see. God may be working in ways that are not yet visible. Look for signs of grace in difficult moments. Even small reminders of hope matter deeply. Encourage someone who is struggling. Sometimes people need reassurance that God has not abandoned them. Hold onto hope patiently. Healing, growth, and understanding often take time.

Prayer: Faithful God, in times of uncertainty and struggle, we often find it hard to hold onto our faith. Please help us develop a deeper trust in You, especially when life feels overwhelming. Remind us that even when we can’t see Your plans unfolding, You are always at work in our lives. Give us the strength to lean on You, and the patience to wait for Your guidance. Thank you for being our constant support. We pray in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen!

God Bless You All!

We often get caught up in the past, dwelling on what’s already happened, and in doing so, we can blind ourselves to the fresh starts that are unfolding right before us. It's easy to get lost in memories or regrets, but if we pause and open our eyes, we'll discover new opportunities and experiences just waiting to be embraced. Sometimes, it's those new beginnings that hold the most promise.

Today’s devotion is titled A New Thing. I invite you to read Isaiah 43:18-19. Here are questions to reflect on as you read. What “former things” are difficult for you to release? Where do you need hope for something new? How have you experienced God bringing renewal in your life? What might God be inviting you to notice right now?

God speaks these surprising words to His people: “Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of old.” Then comes the promise: “I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” The people hearing these words had experienced disappointment, loss, and uncertainty. It would have been easy to believe that their best days were behind them. But God reminds them that His work is not finished.

New life can emerge in unexpected places. “I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” God creates hope where none seems possible. This passage is not about ignoring the past. It is about refusing to become trapped by it.

And this speaks directly to our everyday lives. There are seasons when we feel stuck in old disappointments, fears, or routines. But God continues bringing renewal, growth, and possibility. Even in dry or uncertain places, God can create something new.

Life Application: Release what keeps you stuck. Ask God to help you let go of past fears, disappointments, or regrets. Stay open to new possibilities. God often works in ways we do not expect. Look for signs of renewal. Pay attention to small moments of growth, hope, or fresh perspective. Trust God in uncertain seasons. Even when the future feels unclear, God is still creating pathways forward. Believe that growth is still possible. No season is beyond God’s ability to bring new life.

Prayer: God of renewal, help us recognize the new and wonderful things you’re bringing into our lives. Fill our hearts with hope for the journey ahead and grant us the courage to embrace each day with trust. We seek your guidance and presence as we navigate through the changes and opportunities that await us. We pray in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen!

There are days when it feels like growth or transformation is taking forever. You might look back and see only tiny steps forward, making progress feel almost insignificant. Sometimes change can seem half-finished, leaving us questioning if any real transformation or growth is happening. It’s during these moments of doubt that we really start to wonder: Is anything truly happening?

Today’s devotion is titled God Is Not Finished. I invite you to read Philippians 1:6. Here are questions to reflect on as you read. Where do you feel “unfinished” right now? How have you seen growth in your life over time? What helps you trust God’s ongoing work in you? How can patience become part of your faith journey?

Paul writes with confidence: “I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion…” God begins the work. And God continues the work. This verse reminds us that spiritual growth is a process, or, as I like to call it, a journey. There are seasons of progress. Seasons of waiting. Seasons when we cannot clearly see what God is doing. But God does not abandon what He begins. Even when we feel unfinished, God continues to shape, teach, and transform us. Growth may not always be visible immediately, but God’s work continues faithfully.

And this speaks directly about our everyday lives. There are moments when we become discouraged with ourselves or uncertain about the future. But faith reminds us that God is still at work. Our story is still unfolding, and God’s grace continues shaping us day by day.

Life Application: Be patient with yourself. Growth takes time. Allow yourself to continue learning and becoming. Reflect on how far God has already brought you. Look back and notice ways God has been faithful through past seasons. Trust God in unfinished places. Even areas that still feel incomplete are where God is at work. Keep moving forward. Do not give up simply because progress feels slow. Rest in God’s faithfulness. The same God who began the work in you will continue it.

Prayer: Faithful God, thank you for the ongoing journey of growth you guide us through. We appreciate your patience with us as we learn to trust your perfect timing. Help us embrace this process and stay grounded, finding strength in the moments of waiting. Your support means everything to us! We pray in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen!

Life has a way of keeping us on our toes, doesn’t it? As seasons change and new responsibilities come our way, we often find ourselves facing the unknown. It’s a mix of excitement and fear, and questions swirl around in our heads: Am I truly ready for what’s next? What if I stumble on the journey? I know for myself, I have asked these questions over and over again, especially the last one.

This week will be a reminder that we’re not alone on our journey. The same God who has been our anchor in the past walks alongside us into this new chapter. While we may not see the entire path laid out before us, we can place our trust in the One who guides us, knowing that He will help us navigate the changes ahead.

As I think about life, one word comes to mind: courage. Courage isn’t about being completely fearless; it’s often more about moving forward even when doubts linger. Think of those moments when you know what you need to do but feel that knot in your stomach. Taking the next step, despite that uncertainty, is what true bravery looks like. It’s about embracing vulnerability and trusting yourself to navigate the unknown, one step at a time.

Today’s devotion is titled Be Strong and Courageous. I invite you to read Joshua 1:9. Here are questions to reflect on as you read. What new season or challenge are you currently facing? What fears arise when you think about moving forward? How does God’s presence give you courage? What would it look like to take the next step in faith?

Joshua stands at the beginning of a new chapter. Moses is gone. Leadership now rests on Joshua’s shoulders. The future ahead feels enormous. And into that uncertainty, God speaks: “Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

God does not promise Joshua an easy journey. He promises His presence. The command to be courageous is connected directly to the assurance that Joshua will not walk alone. Strength does not come from having all the answers. It comes from knowing God is near.

And this speaks directly to our everyday lives. Moving forward often feels uncertain. New seasons, decisions, and challenges can stir fear within us. But God’s presence gives us courage to keep going, even when we do not know exactly what lies ahead.

Life Application: Take the next step. You do not need the entire plan; focus on the next faithful step in front of you. Remember God’s presence. When fear rises, remind yourself that God goes with you wherever you are. Speak encouragement to yourself. Repeat God’s words: “Be strong and courageous.” Trust God in new seasons. Even unfamiliar paths can become places where God works deeply in your life. Move forward despite uncertainty. Courage is not the absence of fear; it is faith that continues anyway.

Prayer: Courageous God, when we find ourselves facing uncertainty about what lies ahead, remind us, dear God, that You are always by our side. Put in us a deep sense of peace and courage, encouraging us to trust in Your plan. Help us embrace the unknown with faith, knowing that every step we take is guided by Your loving presence. Strengthen our hearts and spirits, so we can move forward with hope and confidence. We pray in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen!

Most days feel routine, don’t they? We go through the motions like cooking meals, chatting with friends, tackling work projects, running errands, and juggling all our responsibilities. Yet, during all this ordinary hustle, there's a beautiful truth in Scripture: even our simplest moments can be a way to honor God. It’s a reminder to find grace and purpose in the everyday, and to appreciate how they contribute to our journey of faith.

Today’s devotion is titled Do It for God’s Glory. I invite you to read 1 Corinthians 10:31. Here are questions to reflect on as you read. What ordinary parts of your life could become acts of worship? How do your daily choices reflect your faith? What does it mean to glorify God in everyday life? Where is God inviting you to live more intentionally?

Paul writes: “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.” Whatever you do. Not just worship. Not just church activities. Everything. Even the simplest parts of life can become acts of worship when lived with the right heart.

Paul reminds believers that faith is not separated from daily living. How we speak, serve, work, respond, and care for others all reflect something about God. Glorifying God is not about being impressive. It is about living faithfully. It is about reflecting God’s goodness in ordinary life.

And this speaks directly to our everyday lives. Many people search for big spiritual moments while overlooking the sacredness of daily faithfulness. But God is present in ordinary routines, and even simple acts can bring Him glory when done with love, integrity, and gratitude.

Life Application: Approach daily life with purpose. Even simple responsibilities can honor God when done faithfully. Reflect Christ in your interactions. Let kindness, patience, and integrity shape how you treat others. Practice gratitude in ordinary moments. Thank God for everyday blessings and opportunities. Remember that your life is a witness. People often notice how we live before they hear what we say. Honor God consistently. Choose faithfulness not just in big moments, but in daily habits and attitudes.

Prayer: Glorious God, we come with open hearts, seeking your guidance in all parts of our lives. Help us honor you, whether during quiet days at home or extraordinary moments of joy. Teach us to see beauty in everyday moments, like sharing meals or enjoying peaceful walks. In times of celebration or milestones, remind us of your presence and grace. Guide us to live faithfully, expressing gratitude through our actions. May our lives reflect our commitment to you in both simple tasks and remarkable events. Thank you for being with us every step of the way. We pray in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen!

This week, we discovered that God is present not only in extraordinary moments but in everyday life. We learned that ordinary moments can become sacred moments, that faithfulness in small things matters deeply, that God can establish the work of our hands, that we can continue faithfully even when weary, and that everyday living can bring glory to God.

Faith is not limited to Sunday mornings. It is lived out in conversations, responsibilities, acts of kindness, quiet faithfulness, and daily choices. God meets us there. In the ordinary. In the routine. In the unnoticed moments that make up most of life.

As we move into the next week, we carry this truth: A faithful life is built one ordinary day at a time.

Have a great and blessed weekend!

Let’s talk about exhaustion for a moment. Exhaustion can be a silent visitor, creeping in when you're striving to do good for so long. It's not always about making mistakes; sometimes, it's the weight of trying to be there for others, to uplift and support, that wears you down. Imagine giving your all, day after day, pouring your energy into helping those around you, only to find yourself feeling drained. It's a reminder that even the most well-intentioned efforts can leave us feeling weary if we don’t pause to recharge. Taking time for yourself isn’t selfish; it’s essential for sustaining your ability to do good.

Today’s devotion is titled Do Not Grow Weary. I invite you to read Galatians 6:9. Here are questions to reflect on as you read. Where are you feeling weary right now? What helps you continue when you feel discouraged? How do you respond when results are slow? What encouragement do you need to hear today?

Paul writes these encouraging words: “Let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.” Paul understands something deeply human: Even faithful people get tired. Tired of waiting. Tired of serving. Tired of trying. Tired of carrying responsibility. Doing good does not always produce immediate results. Sometimes growth is slow. Sometimes change takes time.

But Paul reminds believers not to lose heart. Faithfulness matters even when results are not immediately visible. Seeds planted in love, kindness, service, and faith are never wasted.

And this speaks directly to our everyday lives. There are seasons when daily faithfulness feels exhausting and unnoticed. But God continues working through every act of love, service, and perseverance. Even when we feel weary, our faithfulness still matters.

Life Application: Acknowledge your exhaustion honestly. God already knows when you are tired. Bring your weariness to Him without guilt. Focus on faithfulness, not immediate results. You may not see the impact of your efforts right away, but God is still at work. Rest when needed. Perseverance includes allowing yourself moments of renewal and rest. Keep doing small acts of good. Faithfulness often grows through ordinary, repeated acts of love and service. Remember that God sees your efforts. Even unnoticed acts of kindness matter deeply to Him.

Prayer: Strengthening God, when fatigue sets in, Lord, please refresh our hearts and lift our spirits. Help us to stay devoted and remind us that every effort we put forth in Your name has purpose and meaning. Let us trust that our work, even in challenging times, is never in vain. We pray in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen!

Some days, it honestly feels like I'm just going through the motions, checking off tasks and juggling responsibilities. It can seem like just another ordinary day. Yet, in those quiet moments, my faith whispers that even the most routine work holds deeper significance. Each small act can have a ripple effect, touching lives in ways I may never see. It reminds me to find purpose in the everyday grind.

Today’s devotion is titled Establish the Work. I invite you to read Psalm 90:17. Here are questions to reflect on as you read. What kind of work fills most of your days? When have you questioned whether your work mattered? How might God be working through your daily responsibilities? What would it look like to invite God into your work?

The psalmist prays: “Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands…” Then the prayer is repeated again: “O prosper the work of our hands!” This is more than a request for success. It is a prayer for purpose.

The psalmist longs for the work of everyday life to matter, to be shaped by God’s presence and used for something meaningful. Work is not only about productivity. It is about participation. The things we do each day, serving, helping, caring, building, and encouraging, can become part of God’s ongoing work in the world.

And this speaks directly to our everyday lives. Many days may feel repetitive or unnoticed, but God can use ordinary work in meaningful ways. When we invite Him into what we do, even simple acts can carry lasting impact and purpose.

Life Application: Invite God into your daily tasks. Begin your work, whether at home, church, or elsewhere, with a simple prayer for God’s guidance. See value in ordinary responsibilities. Even unseen acts of service can carry deep meaning and impact. Work with faithfulness and care. Approach your responsibilities as opportunities to reflect God’s love and presence. Encourage someone else in their work. A kind word can remind someone that what they do matters. Trust that God can use your efforts. You may not always see immediate results, but God works through faithful labor over time.

Prayer: God of purpose, we ask for Your blessings on the work we do each day. May our hands be guided by Your wisdom as we strive to serve with integrity and dedication. Help us to remember that even in the simplest tasks, we can fulfill Your greater purpose. We trust that our efforts, no matter how ordinary they may seem, can make a meaningful impact in this world. Thank You for the opportunity to be part of Your Story! We pray in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen!

Have you ever found yourself predicting those big moments in life, like landing a dream job, getting a promotion, or achieving a significant milestone? Many times, we focus on the grand opportunities and the responsibilities that come with them, hoping that these will define our journey. Yet, it’s the small, quiet acts of faithfulness that truly shape who we are. Whether it’s showing up for a friend in need, working hard on daily tasks, or simply being present for our loved ones, it’s in these everyday moments that our true character shines. Often unnoticed, these small gestures add up to creating something beautiful and meaningful in our lives.

Today’s devotion is titled Faithful in Small Things. I invite you to read Luke 16:10. Here are questions to reflect on as you read. What “small things” make up most of your daily life? How do you define faithfulness? Where is God inviting you to be more consistent? How might small acts shape larger spiritual growth?

Jesus says: “Whoever is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. Faithfulness often starts with the little things in life. It’s in the small daily choices we make and the quiet moments of commitment that often go unnoticed. Think about your morning routine, showing up for a friend in need, or simply taking care of responsibilities that may feel ordinary. These seemingly ordinary actions lay the foundation for trust and loyalty, illustrating that even the smallest gestures can have a profound impact on our relationships and character.

Jesus reminds us that character is revealed not only in major decisions, but in small acts of consistency and integrity. The little things matter, like how we speak to others. How we handle responsibilities. How we treat people when no one is watching. Small acts of faithfulness shape the kind of people we become.
And this speaks directly to our everyday lives. Many people want to make a big difference, but spiritual growth often happens through ordinary daily faithfulness. God works through consistent acts of obedience, kindness, and integrity in the small moments of life.

Life Application: Be faithful in routine responsibilities. Approach ordinary tasks with care and integrity, even when they seem small. Practice consistency. Faithfulness is often built through repeated daily choices rather than dramatic moments. Treat small moments as meaningful. Do not overlook opportunities to reflect Christ through kindness, honesty, or patience. Keep your commitments. Follow through on promises and responsibilities, even in simple matters. Trust that God sees what others may not. Faithfulness matters even when it goes unnoticed.

Prayer: Faithful God, help us to recognize and honor You in the everyday moments that often go unnoticed. Teach us to embrace each day with consistency, integrity, and a gentle, steadfast faith that guides our actions and decisions. May we find joy in the little things and carry Your presence into every encounter.

It's easy to see God during the big moments in life, the ones that leave us breathless or deeply changed. We often think of Him in our emotional highs or during life-changing events. However, much of our life changes in the ordinary, such as our daily routines, the responsibilities we juggle, and those seemingly endless ordinary days.

Yet, it's exactly in these everyday moments that God meets us. Faith isn’t confined to worship services or classic turning points; it’s woven into the fabric of our daily lives. It shapes our conversations, guides our work, shapes our choices, and reflects in the way we treat others. This week will be a beautiful reminder that God is not just present in the extraordinary but also in the ordinary moments, quietly guiding and supporting us as we navigate through life.

Today’s devotion is titled Do Everything in His Name. I invite you to read Colossians 3:17. Here are questions to reflect on as you read. What ordinary parts of your life feel like the most routine right now? How might those moments become expressions of faith? What would it look like to do your daily tasks “in the name of the Lord”? How does gratitude shape your perspective?

Paul writes: “Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus…” Whatever you do. Not just worship. Not just church work. Everything.

This verse reminds us that faith is not separated from daily life. Following Christ shapes how we speak, work, serve, and live. Even ordinary moments become meaningful when lived with purpose and gratitude.

Paul continues: “Giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Gratitude becomes part of everyday discipleship. This is not about making every moment dramatic. It is about recognizing that God is present in the ordinary.

And this speaks directly about our everyday lives. Many days may seem routine, but God works through ordinary faithfulness. The way we speak, serve, work, and treat others can all become expressions of our faith when lived in the presence of Christ.

Life Application: Approach ordinary moments with purpose. Even routine tasks can become meaningful when done with love and faithfulness. Watch your words. Speak in ways that reflect kindness, grace, and encouragement. Practice gratitude daily. Take time to thank God for simple blessings and ordinary moments. Reflect Christ through your actions. How you live each day can point others toward God’s presence. Remember that daily faithfulness matters. Small acts done consistently can have a deep spiritual impact.

Prayer: Faithful God, help us to recognize and honor Your presence in the simple, everyday moments of our lives. Teach us to embrace each day with a heart full of gratitude, a sense of purpose, and an abundance of love for those around us. Let every interaction reflect Your kindness, guiding us to live meaningfully and make a difference. We pray in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen!
