To Our Pleasant Grove Family,

We would first like to tell each and every one of you that we are thankful for you all! Over the last few weeks our faith has increased in Christ and has renewed even more!

Today Charissa had her first procedure and is now recouping in her room at Phoebe in Albany. She currently will have approximately two more weeks of staying there to ensure she is recovering.

Baby Dalton is doing good and improving daily. Your prayers are definitely working and we ask that you continue to pray!

Justin and the boys are doing fine and Justin is keeping the home front running. The boys are continuing their normal routine of school and activities.
Thank you all for the precious gifts, meals, visits, phone calls, text, and support that you have shown to our family through this time. We want to make sure that you know that we love and appreciate you!

🚗🎃 Trunk or Treat Sign-Up! 🎃🚗

If you will be participating by decorating a trunk this year, please sign up in advance so we can make sure we have plenty of trunks for everyone to enjoy! Sign up will be located at the main entrance of the sanctuary in the sign up book.

We will also be collecting candy for this event in a box located next to the Operation Christmas Child table.

We look forward to seeing all the creative and festive trunks! 🍂👻🍬

✨ A Blessed Day at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church! ✨

Praise God for a truly spirit-filled and powerful time of fellowship! Today, our church family gathered to witness and celebrate the official ordination of our new deacons Steve Driver and Tyler Harnage.

Watching these dedicated servants step forward to answer the call of leadership and service is a true testament to God's grace in our body.

As Scripture reminds us in 1 Timothy 3:13, "Those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a high standing and great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus."

Please join us in surrounding our newly ordained deacons—and their families—with continuous prayers, love, and support as they take on this vital role of serving our church and community.

Welcome to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where we are sowing and reaping God’s Spiritual Harvest!

Don't forget to mark your calendars for a big day of celebration, worship, and fellowship this week at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Americus!

Sunday school begins at 10 am and we have a class for all ages!

Nursery this week will be led by Robin Bell.
There will be no childrens church due to the Deacon service.

During our 11:00 AM Morning Worship, we will host:

📜 Deacon Ordination for Steve Driver and Tyler Harnage.

👏 Appreciation Service for our outgoing deacons: David Williams, Buddy McCrary, and Jimmy Sanders.

Please lift up our incoming three-year term deacons in prayer: Fred Edmunds, John Fox, Hollis Hale, Steve Driver, and Tyler Harnage.

🍗 DINNER ON THE GROUNDS:We will gather for a fellowship meal immediately following the morning service to celebrate these men. Everyone is asked to bring a side dish and/or a dessert to share! Bring your favorite food, invite your family and friends, and let's make it a wonderful day!

We will have no evening services.
