Join us this Thursday as we celebrate the Ascension of our Lord!

“For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.” Hebrews 9:24

Come worship with us this Holy Week!

Our Maundy Thursday service will include washing of feet and the celebration of holy communion. The service will end with the stripping of the altar.

We will have two services on Good Friday. At noon, we will have stations of the cross. In this outdoor service, we meditate upon our Lord to his crucifixion and burial. At 6 o’clock, our service will include scripture reading and prayer for ourselves and the world.

On Holy Saturday, we gather for a brief service of scripture and the reading of an ancient homily.

Finally on Sunday, we celebrate the glorious Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ with a service of holy communion.

On Wednesday nights throughout Lent, we will be having soup suppers after Evening Prayer at 6 PM. All are welcome!

This Wednesday, February 18, is the start of Lent, a season of penitence and fasting. We invite you to join us at our Ash Wednesday service at 6 PM.

Through self-examination and repentance, by prayer, fasting, and alms-giving, and by reading and meditating on God’s holy word, let us seek to observe a holy Lent.

“Almighty God, you have poured upon us the new light of your incarnate Word: Grant that this light, kindled in our hearts, may shine forth in our lives; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.”
