Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple The Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple is a sacred building where members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) perform ordinances.

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints attend temples to worship Jesus Christ and to perform ordinances that allow them to grow closer to him. The Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple is located in American Fork, Utah about a 45 minute drive south of Salt Lake City. Visitors to the temple are welcome. However, only members of the LDS Church who hold current temple recommends are permitted into the interior of the temple where ordinances are performed.
