Amelia Presbyterian Church A modern congregation in a traditional community, spreading Christ's love and peace to the world.

Organized in 1828, the Amelia Presbyterian Church is located in historic Amelia Court House, Virginia, and it continues to grow through worship, Bible study, prayer, mission and outreach. Our facilities include a fellowship hall, seven Sunday school rooms, and the only pipe organ in Amelia County.

The Sunbeams heard the story of Jesus choosing his disciples and making them fishers of men. When asked what they would use as β€œbait” to catch people for Jesus they said: love, kindness, joy, goodness and gentleness. As they were saying these words they remembered they are the Fruits of the Spirit!!!

At the blooddrive today the Red Cross collected 23 units of blood!! Thank you to everyone who donated and to everyone who shared the information!!

Join us on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 11 a.m. for a powerful and inspiring talk with award-winning author Nancy Wright Beasley.

Nancy is the author of Izzy’s Fire: Finding Humanity in the Holocaust, The Little Lion: A Hero in the Holocaust, and Reflections of a Purple Zebra: Essays of a Different Stripe. Through her writing and speaking engagements across Virginia and beyond, she addresses important topics including antisemitism, anti-discrimination, and anti-bullying.

She is also founder of the nonprofit Chutzpah and Courage, which promotes Holocaust education and antisemitism awareness in schools and communities.

This meaningful program is an opportunity to hear firsthand about the stories behind her books and the importance of preserving history while promoting compassion and understanding.
