Wes Huff and Ruslan recently had a conversation suggesting that the gifts of the Spirit are not normative for modern-day believers. While I respect these men and appreciate many things they do, Pastor Brian firmly disagrees.
The same Holy Spirit poured out in the Book of Acts is still moving today. We still believe in Pentecost. We still believe in speaking in tongues, prophecy, miraculous healing, deliverance, and the supernatural power of God.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The gifts of the Spirit were never meant to disappear — they were meant to empower the Church to reach a lost world.
