Isaiah 58:10 (NIV): "If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness...". Saturday, May 16, our next volunteer day at the High Plains Food Bank, we will have that opportunity bring light into the darkness of those struggling with hunger. Please consider joining us from 9AM to 11:30-ish at 1910 SE 8th Ave. Some bending and light lifting. All ages welcome!

From their web site: "Hunger in Amarillo is a solvable problem. Food banks, food pantries, volunteers, and donors working together create a safety net that keeps our community strong. Whether you can give $10, a few hours on a Saturday, or a box of shelf-stable groceries, your contribution goes directly to feeding our neighbors."
