Yesterday’s message, Why God: Why Does God Feel So Far Away?, reminded us that there are seasons when God seems distant, silent, or absent. But feelings don’t determine God’s presence. Even when we can’t see Him working, God is still near, still faithful, and still moving in our lives.

Sometimes the distance we feel comes from distractions, pain, unanswered prayers, or difficult circumstances. Yet Scripture reminds us that God never abandons His children. He invites us to keep seeking Him, trusting Him, and drawing near, even in the waiting.

The key takeaway: God may feel far away, but He has never left you. In the silence, in the questions, and in the hard seasons, His presence remains constant. Keep pursuing Him because often He is closest when we need Him most.

This week in our “Why, God?” series, we looked at a question many people wrestle with: If God wants us to change, why is it still such a struggle?

The answer isn’t found in trying harder or following more rules. Real transformation happens through God’s grace. Religion focuses on outward behavior, but grace changes the heart. When we trust Jesus and surrender our lives to Him, He gives us the power to overcome the things we could never conquer on our own.

God doesn’t just call us to be better people. He calls us to become new creations through His grace.

This week, ask yourself: Am I relying on my own strength, or am I allowing God’s grace to do its work in me?
